Paul "Molly" Meldrum coached Bacchus Marsh after he retired from AFL ranks, i think it was in the 1993 and 1994 seasons. I am not sure whether they were in the Riddell or Ballarat League (they are now in the Ballarat League). I think Kourkoumelis may have had a run with Molly at the 'Marsh'.

Membership is Just a Tick Away!

http://spiritofcarlton.com/blog/2011/02 ... tick-away/

When filling out your Carlton Football Club membership formkeep an eye out for the Spirit of Carlton optional extra box on the form, we have highlighted it in the following picture so you can see where it is:

Image

This is the easiest way to become a member of the Spirit of Carlton, just one tick and all your details from your CFC membership will be used for your Spirit of Carlton membership.

Your money goes towards three main areas when you pay for a Spirit of Carlton Membership,

- Facilities for the current playing group.
- Assistance for past players and officials in the form of ongoing welfare and support activities (medical support, hardship support, general support).
- Preservation and promotion of the history of the club.

Already, nearly $300,000 has been provided to pay for specific items and activities including ice baths, training equipment, support for the Father and Son Development Academy and the upcoming display case in the CFC foyer.

As our membership grows we are able to provide more to the club, for the present and for the past so that the future will be stronger.

So Download a Carlton Football Club Membership form today and tick the Spirit of Carlton as well!

ozdevil,

Yes, the online option works as well.

There are several ways people can become members of the Spirit of Carlton.

- Online through the carltonfc website (ticketek).
- With the paper CFC application form highlighted above.
- Or using our own application form.

All the information comes to the Spirit of Carlton for processing.

While it is possible to be a member of the Spirit of Carlton seperately to the Carlton Football Club, we always like to encourage and promote CFC membership.

Thanks for being a member ozdevil. If you have any questions or suggestions for us would love to hear them.

has the Spirit of Carlton been advertised in the footy record so it can get out further to reach more of the Carlton support base? It may have an effect and generate more membership possibly??

ticketek or ticketmaster?

I entered via the club website and was directed to ticketmaster, had a special account and needed a password to be emailed to me. I'm an AFL member so need to join SOC seperately....I'm assuming the account on ticketmaster picked up my details via my email address somehow as it didn't ask for details...?

Should I just print off a form and mail and stop asking stupid questions

Yes, apologies, it is ticketmaster.

Everything should have worked if it did not ask for details. If you do not hear from the SOC within a reasonable amount of time please let me know and I'll sort it all out for you ASAP.

http://spiritofcarlton.com/blog/2011/03 ... hday-mick/

Lifelong Blues supporter Mick Johnston celebrated his 90th birthday recently. The Spirit of Carlton would like to extend our best wishes to Mick and many happy returns. Mick is a veteran of World War II, in particular he was one of the famous 'Rats of Tobruk' who fought so bravely in holding off Rommel, the Desert Fox in the sands of Libya.....

No wonder it was a sell-out at $35 a pop - I think you could up the price a tad and it would still be worth it
