I emailed CFC membership last night ...
"Many thanks for the 2nd part of the Members package. The scarf is especially lovely! I just wanted to check ... can I give my godson the "2011 Free Members Cap" card so he can collect this for himself? Does he need to also show my Membership card?"
I haven't had a response re this yet ... can anyone here advise?

I did, however, get a message this morning re the certificate stating the incorrect number of years I've been a member ...
"Recently you would have received your 2011 Member Kit in the mail. Included in your Member Kit was a 'continuous years of membership' certificate. Unfortunately due to a data error, the number of years printed on your certificate is incorrect.
The Club has rectified this issue and a new certificate will be sent to you in the mail shortly."
Damn ... I liked the +2 years they gave me!

See, this is what people need to realise...it doesn't matter where you live! The mailhouse system is just....weird.

To be perfectly honest I was in no rush to receive the scarf, especially at this time of year

Wel, it could double as a sun shield or squeegee.

Does every member receive a scarf or only those who have been members for a certain amount of years? Just asking because i got everything else thats been listed here but not the scarf.

PS - Been a member for 12 years.

I'd say you should have got a scarf, my eldest daughetr just hit 18 yo and she got one and has been a a member for around teh same time. Her junior membership (up to 5 yo) doesent seem to count on her Carlton membership.
