hey, barnesy...

at this stage, assuming you guys still have 10, we have about 30 ( 20 from demonland and 10 from demonology)...

so I am planning on the basis that it will be talkingcarlton/demonology versus demonland...

have not heard from you, but demonland have claimed the MFC colours, and I am assuming you cannot supply the extra CFC jumpers, so I am trying to locate a set of 20+ jumpers for the guys from talkingcarlton/demonology to wear that will be obviously different from the MFC red and blue...

we have agreed on our sites that, if talkingcarlton/demonology win on feb 20, both club songs will get to be sung, but you guys will get to keep "the duke" trophy until the next stoush...

any problems with any of this, please ring me...

confirm the demonology guys are happy to play with you against demonland's strong team...

we have found some green tops for the combine talkingcarlton/demonology to wear, but if you want to wear the CFC jumpers, the demonology boys can simply wear their MFC jumpers inside out...

your decision, barnesy, but please let me know ASAP, because these green jumpers come at a cost...

btw, there is no love lost between demonology and demonland, so the game may get a bit intense...

given the quality of the talkingcarlton players, and the passion of the demonology players, I think demonland are in for a real challenge...

whatever the result, it should be a fantastic game...

even if 10 turn up we need to make that a start.

I am disappointed, but lets have a kick and build for next off season.

I think we just go with the CFC jumpers and melb turned inside out if there is a cost for the green jumpers.

if you guys don't turn up, demonology will take on the demonland giants on our own...

there is no love lost between demonology and demonland...

so the demonology guys are happy to make up your numbers on sunday, with their jumpers turned inside-out...

on balance, the demonland players are superior, but if you add the demonology boys to your quality outfit, I think demonland will go down...

(and I have seen every dees' game since we started this forum footy and most of your games in the last 5 years)...

but I predict it will be a fantastic game, with VFL umpys commited to turning up to umpire...

already agreed that if the combine talkingcarlton/demonology beat demonland, both songs get to be sung, but you guys get to keep the "duke" trophy (named for Earl Spalding) for the first time...
