Ellards kicking looks good.

Tigers look more up for it than the blues which is often the case in these practice games. Would be good for the tigers to win something and this Nab thing is a good opportunity.

I am going to smash the TV soon - the commentators are such idiots and so anti-carlton.

Quartermain is such a wanker.

He keeps saying how Carlton is almost at full strength....

Judd, Gibbs, Kruezer, Jamison, McLean, Betts, Garlett, Henderson, Houlihan, Hampson, Carrazzo aren't in the best 22?

That said... pretty ordinary opening quarter/half

Yep, apparently it was the '95 Premiership side vs a group of amputee 11 year old olds.

Nice signs from Kerr, Casboult, Diugan, Laidler, Watson and some 1%'s from Twomey.

Try as he might Lloyd could not hide his contempt for the Blues in the 1st 20 minutes. Never heard him in the 2nd 20 minutes.

Folks it is Feb 12th so please remember that before you change feet.

So I guess we'll be seeing Curnow, Carter, McInnes, Hampson, Tuohy & Betts in the second game?

Kerr, Casboult & Davies all look like they've taken some good strides this pre-season, particularly Kerr who looks like he can slot straight into the senior team for his kicking alone.

Cachia was solid if a bit unspectacular, and his pace is at borderline Bentick levels. Duigan was just ok, all things considered; Laidler put in a more impressive performance for mine with his sharp disposal, while Duigan still has a bit of loop on his kicks and looked flat-footed at times (though he didn't seem to lack pace). Didn't notice Twomey at all to be honest, but that's better than standing out for the wrong reasons.

Happy with everyone else considering all the rust being shaken off, but Mitch needs to beef up in the next year or two because he showed again he's always going to be a yard slow.
