Seems Jake Niall has a Carlton Story Translator too:

http://www.watoday.com.au/afl/afl-news/brown-is-the-new-black-20110208-1alr9.html

Quote:
SINCE Christmas, Carlton's Setanta O'hAilpin and Levi Casboult have been honing their ruck skills in preparation for a new role triggered by Collingwood's 15th premiership and changes to the interchange rules.

Neither O'hAilpin nor Casboult is a conventional ruckman. Casboult, the rookie best known as the inebriated victim of Carlton's ''booze cruise'' of December 2009, has a tall-forward pedigree. O'hAilpin has played at both ends - and occasionally in the ruck - since he made the giant leap from Irish hurling to the AFL. In recent times he has been predominantly a key forward.

Speaking of Steak Knives, what happened to #69 we got as part of the Warnock deal?

According to these links we didn't trade it, but it was used by Brisbane.

It became pick 65 with some clubs dropping out earlier in the draft - we used it on Rhys O'Keefe. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Sounds plausible, but I always thought that if a club didn't take it's pick they just wrote "pass" next to it rather than shuffle the subsequent picks up one notch.

We're talking about the 2008 draft when O'Keeffe first was drafted.

It wasn't that they passed on picks on draft day but that they were never using those picks, e.g. if they only delist 3 players and their 3rd pick is pick 30-something then in subsequent rounds everyone else does move up a spot.

Kane Lucas.

I dont think Wallace gets enough credit for building the Bulldogs list in the first place and making them a top 4 side. He never really had the luxury of looking to the future.

But anyway...

He has to write about something.

The only key players in that age bracket are Judd and Waite and I dont think they're the kind of players who will drop off at 30.

Hang on hang on...

Surely that is a result of

I thought Scott Clayton built that list.

No link yet between Carlton and the Christchurch earthquake, but you never know.

In the meantime, this thread is probably more appropriate for that (awesome) link.

I see the HS is still trying to pin Fev's problems on Carlton.

Poll attached to main story on Fev is "Should Carlton take back Brendan Fevola?" WTF!!!

Double WTF is that 37% say yes!!!

We've been slandered for every other possible evil in the world, no doubt we can add "causing attempted suicide" to the list soon.
