Ratts was on SEN between 7-8? this morning. I caught the end of it. Just the usual stuff but it was good to hear him out and about.
Hopefully they'll have it on the SEN site later today.

In unrelated news, the SEN newsperson was making comment on the St Kilda debacle. He stated that he hoped the AFLPA are investigating the situation and hoped they can "get a hand on it"

I heard that too.

They'd certainly want to, because you'd think Nick Dal Santo would be pretty jacked-off at all this.

In reference to Walker being put up for trade - Ratts mentioned he was shopped around post 94 season. Said it's all about how you respond...

He was too modest to mention that he responded by winning a B&F in a premiership team

In summary Ratt's said the following:

- Kreuzer recovery going well and he may play or otherwise "won't be far" from Rd 1. Said he won't be rushed back regardless.
- Not expecting any of the talls drafted to be regulars in senior footy next year however made special mention of Watson who "hasn't missed a beat" with preseason training.
- Commended Walker's preseason to date and made mention how he was put up for trade at the end of the 94 season.
- Commended Murphy for coming 3rd in the B&F despite having an injury interrupted preseason. Expecting a big 2011 from him and thinks he will re-sign with Carlton and be a one club player.
- Gibbs to spend more time in the midfield next year.

AFLPA should look after their members better.

Ratts also quoted in today's Herald-Sun about how we are going to use Kreuzer and Warnock in the goal square this season:

Lucky we have closed training sessions so the other 16 clubs dont get wind of this.

Good thing about a Ratts interview in summer is you don't hear " ïn the mix"

Same thing as "early days", except I think doors came first as an expression.

dunno what it means now. but early doors was a phrase used to describe pub's opening times.

eg. Markillies in the city opened at 7.00am
Watersiders '' '' '' '' 6.00 am.
London Tavern Port Melb '' '' 7.00 am. etc etc
These pubs and others catered for shift workers (wharfies etc) as well as a few desperates and a surprising number of suits looking for a ''needle'' before a hard day's toil.
What contributed to their demise was the influx of drunken fwits coming in after the nightclubs closed, and starting (generally losing) fights.

"Early doors" is an old expression. I am suprised you have never heard it. I hear it at least once a week.

He should of handled it better. Now it’s blown up in his face.
