Looks like the white one after being washed by my ex.

Good Idea Wojee. Not need to buy another jumper, just mix a navy blue jumper with the white clash and whala !!!!!!!!!!

The most identifiable aspect of a Carlton jumper is the CFC logo. As long as that remains, I'm happy. It actually makes our away jumper instantly recognisable. Other teams are not so lucky.

I don't mind it - bit close to Port Adelaide Power colours but meh whatever -- I like the idea of slight variations of guernsey designs... bring on the sales.

Whatever.

At least by changing it every 3 years, these clash jumpers never become a part of our tradition. I'd much rather the club keep swapping them over for novelty value and revenue opportunities, than any one of these things being given time to 'stick' and become part of the fabric of our club.

Treat the clash jumper as a revolving novelty item for the kiddies and I'm happy, and I couldn't care less what design you use.

That way, you always have the navy blue as our genuine, ongoing colour. And the clash jumpers... they can change as often as we want them to. Every season if they like.

If that's the strategy Swann is employing, then he's a clever man.

While i think Murph looks good in anything i prefer the white jumper. The blue shorts are the killer for me. The club said that member feedback was behind the change, was anyone here asked by the club for their opinion?
Now the AFL has to get on Collingwood and Essendon*'s back and make them come up with proper away jumpers. Yeah right, as if they will happen.

So novelty value is what we are aiming for?

The guernsey is just another opportunity for novelty value?

Once you start down this track you will find the club will eventually be playing in these "novelty" guernseys every 2nd week. That is the eventual aim of the AFL and Nike. I say we should try a poo brown guernsey in 2 years time with a CFC monogram in white. Can't wait for it. Will be great.

It could have been worse.

It could have been black with white stripes.

Just reflect on that for a moment.

I don't mind the jumper (even though the deep yellow/orange would be way better), but those shorts are just horrid.
