Loved all of Judd, Williams and Rhys BEFORE they came to our club.

Always got a soft spot for genuinely talented players regardless of who they play for. The best ones (perhaps with the exception of Doull and Hunter) always have a bit of arrogance about them that opposition fans hate. If you can get beyond that it's not that hard to like the best players.

Very happy to pick up all three and still amazed we got them.

Always had a soft spot for Earl Spalding while he was at Melbourne too. While not in the same category as the others he was a seriously handy footballer...especially from 60 metres out on the boundary, kicking over his shoulder with three opposition players hanging off him. Just not from 20 out directly in front.

Ben Sexton, Mark Athorn, Tim Powell and Harford, in fact most of the duds Pagan bought in 2003.

Mick McGuane is the one for me.

As for home growners...I was never a big fan of Shane Robertson or Warren McKenzie. Hate is far too strong a word for it though.

Oh, and anyone who pays any kind of attention knows of camel's infatuation with the certain St Kilda small forward

Sean Charles because he wrecked Mark Porter's season when he fell on his leg.

I was sick to my stomach when Cain Ackland joined Carlton. I realised our admin were desperate, but Ackland had been a woeful player in his career, and then we tried to make out like it was a coup. It was the first and only time I openly wanted failure from a Carlton player - terrible player, terrible decision , real indictment on the CFC and black mark on our history.

Mick Martyn, it was nothing but sympathy recruiting.

Never liked Pagan after that.

Interesting..

I am surprised McLean has not had too many votes which is good..

Hampson's starting to brew for mine.. I want to see him do something significant this season, otherwise it is going to become frustrating.

The second time around, yes. First time around he wasn't too bad in my opinion.
