Apparently Setanta's brother played a few games with our reserves back in the first decade of the 21st Century.

Jeff Garlett is related to Lance Franklin.

I think they're cousins.

Prospective draftee Josh Marchbank is apparently related to one (but only one) of the Marchbank brothers that played for Carlton about 100 years ago. Trivia buffs answer me this - why only one of them?

Allan Mangels great uncle was Carlton premiership captain Bob Chitty. Despite rumours to the contrary - he was not related to Alby Mangels who emigrated from the Netherlands as an 8 year old in 1956.

Apparently in a Brisbane Vs St.Kilda match years ago Michael Voss was standing on the mark whilst
Brett Voss, (playing for St.Kilda), was lining up for a shot at goal.

In an attempt to put him off he yelled out "Hey Brett, my Dad flowers your mum".
Might mean they're related.

And this is relevant to the topic of this thread because .... ???
I don't know ... just passing the time until Rnd 1.

Merry Xmas All.

Go Blues.

Reminds me of the Whitnall feud, where I think Lance threatened his brother Shane with someone along the lines of "My Dad knows some people, and I'll get you taken out", which under the circumstances would have been only slightly less stupid than "my Dad is bigger than your Dad".

He should have told Shane he'd get his brother to bash him up...
