Upsets will happen in the Brownlow because of who awards the votes and how the voting system is done.

Swan is a knob. Arrogant on before the game saying he doesnt really care if he wins or doesnt.

It's funny to reflect how 12 months ago it was a case of carlton being a club of drunken idiots on cruises, handcuffing teenagers, drunken antics at the brownlow etc, but now only one thing - the medal itself. Surely this is a sign of progression?

Was a big Carlton night last night. First the 1970 thing. Then Judd and Bec took over and didnt they/we shine.

It was a Carlton love in by the end of the telecast.

It still absolutely amazes me that the incidents with Swan are never bought up in the media. If he'd won no question of his character would have been made at all, yet if Judd had bashed a cleaner and gotten his teeth knocked out in a fight just a few months ago we'd all be hearing about it.

Any Carlton fan slightly in 2 minds as to who to barrack for on Saturday need only to have listened to 20 minutes of talkback radio last night to have their mind well & truly made up. I hope the Saints knock of the red hot favorites in a low scoring contest...

Let's assume Judd got rubbed out for the Pavlich incident... they would still be crying that Ablett beat Swan anyway. He was beaten by two people, nit just Judd. :lol:

Not only that...Gary Pert on radio yesterday spoke as if Swan would win Brownlow and continued in this fashion stating 'After we win, the players will make their way to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl'...I'm on the Saints...hope the Pies get done by a point...again.
