Chris Judd is now among the top ten vote winners in Brownlow history (after halving votes in the "double up years" of 1976-77).

He'd have to be odds on to end his career top 3 of all time. Every chance of ending up number one.

0.87 votes per game is the highest among the top 10 (Will surely fall behind Hutchison by end of career).

Bunton at 1.04 and the unknown Harold Bray (WTF?) at 0.88 the only players to have polled 80+ adjusted votes with a better average votes per game

35 career 3 votes in 9 seasons. Only Dempsey Harvey and Matthews have more.

Yes Robbo and Sheahan, he's a top 10 player :donk:

BTW other gun modern mids average votes per game
Voss - 0.53
Hird - 0.54
Diesel - 0.64
Ablett Jr - 0.64
JUDD FTW - 0.87

Most Brownlow Votes - Career (adjusted for 1976-77)

Votes H&A games AveVotes/Game
Dempsey - 219 319 0.68
R Harvey - 215 366 0.58
Skilton - 180 236 0.76
N Buckley - 178 270 0.65
K Murray - 178 331 0.53
S West - 175 312 0.56
L Matthews - 174 303 0.57
Hutchison - 172 201 0.85
S Black - 164 254 0.64
C JUDD - 162 185 0.87

I used this as the source and updated accordingly

I didn't want to give the Pies any more incentive this Saturday but I'm happy to stamp on Eddie's fingers any time we can just when he is reaching for a prize for his beloved team.

Now if only the Saints can be awarded a verY, VERY. VERY CONTROVERSIAL free kick in the goal square with only seconds to play to have the cup again snatched away, life will be grand. :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Champion Juddy.

Regards Cazzesman

Deliberately missed the Brownlow as I didn't want to see that Collingwood flower win it. Boy am I spewing!

Congrats Juddy!

I expected the amount of vitriol when he was announced the winner but I can't come at the unwarranted reliance on stats when it comes to deciding who has had a great game or not. Stats are a fool's gold a lot of the time as it doesn't accurately represent the easy 1-2's in handballing etc that are now a fixture of the gameplan. Yes Swan is a very good player and no doubting he had an excellent year this year, same with G Ablett but so many of their 'stats' are reliant on this kind of play to make the numbers. I say again they are both excellent players. I sometimes despair of the shennanigans of some players when indulging in this style of play.

The fact is for our toothless brethren out there that even if Judd had've been rubbed out (which he wasn't) Swan would not have won. Never let them forget that.

Karma !

Cleaner on his meal break.

Bashed him so badly he has permanent brain damage.

Then tried to avoid paying the cleaner compensation.

Collingwood's Dane Swan fined for failure to pay bashing settlement

To all the bitter and upset Collingwood fans...
I think Shane sings 5 octaves sums it up best.

Sorry if this has been brought up earlier in this topic (I haven't read it all yet). But did anyone else think it was unnecessary for them to bring up that incident with Pavlich with Judd? If the guy had a case to answer for, he would have been ineligible for the brownlow. He wasn't charged and yet on a night where a true champion of the game wins his second brownlow, they feel it necessary to try and "taint" his victory br bringing this up?????
