I'm not going to praise anyone. Losing is unacceptable for us. Betts and Waite lost us the game. Betts has done sfa for the past two months. Can't hold a mark to save himself. And waites two missed gls were gimmes, mentally choked under pressure. We need a new defense. Bower n jamo don't deserve to be walk up starts. Defence is paper thin. Need it totally re-modelled. And robbo Just not enough polish. Should trade betts. Garlett n yazz are better do betts becomes surplus to our needs. Amazing two of our most experienced in betts n Waite cost us the game.

So disappointed on so many levels. I gotta say ellard was a liability in this game. Waite WTF missing three easy goals. Hendo those missed marks, last mark he took should have gone and had a shot.

Another narrow loss in finals, I saw this coming.

The players will be shattered. They tried their best but came up short. 6 or 7 guys different to last years team. Mainly experienced players out for kids so it was a big effort.

We were unlucky early but turned it around.

Not strong enough in the shoulders and arms yet, so when his arm or shoulder is jarred by contact, he loses grip on the ball. That will disappear from his game naturally.

They responded just about as well as they could to the overall tactical moves but school-boy errors in the final term and a lack of intensity for a quarter and a half in patches early on cost us more than anything else. At this level, the frequency of our concentration lapses are deplorable.

Waited all day for the tv to come on (reception was stuffed from the floods) and I sat and watched the last quarter... TV is now off, playing thrash metal as loud as my speakers can go and drinking. Not going to fix anything but it may numb the pain slightly.
