Hmm..should they have dropped Eddie and not Yaz?
Let's hope he really earns his spot in the side this week.

Damo Barrett strikes again, hey?

Rather than doing the opposite every time he runs with a story, how about you plug the flower leak? :banghead:

Out of left field.

Set Walker the challenge. Can you tackle? Well if you think you can, Adam Goodes is your man today, show me the tackle!

Yes I'm serious too. Walker matches him for speed, agility, running ability, aerially and most importantly frees up Gibbs. Set him the challenge, if it comes off we win and Ratts is a genius. If it fails at least he has tactically tried something out of left field.

He failed on Rich for a quarter, time for redemption.

Sounds like a reasonable challenge for him.

I just hope he has a good game. I think he has something to offer us as an attacking player and a defensive player. He's good in defence when his confidence is up, but he struggles there when he's off his game.

I think the MC have made a mistake in leaving him too long in defensive roles when he should have been moved on those occassions he was getting beaten. No harm in that, Dustbin Felcher gets moved all the time and he's rarely criticised for it.

Yarran relies on open space to run onto the ball and use his skills. On a small ground against a lock-down side the Swans his game would struggle.

Agree, Yarran and Walker both give similar run and carry (alot) and defensive pressure (ie not much) but at least Walker has been showing good form in the Ants, Yarran has been average over the last month at both levels.

Bollocks.........
Yarran was injured 2 weeks ago ! Yarran can tackle - Walker cannot. Yarran only needs 10 possies to hurt the opposition - Walker averages 20 odd this year and doesn't hurt anyone in fact he turns it over so often he hurts us !

You must have missed Yarran's goal assists last week i'm tipping.
I know who i'd rather have on Sunday in our forward line and around the ball and thats Yarran.
Walker is a liability

I think he is saying Walks will take Carrots run with role and Yarran to come in for Carrots

I like it as well. Use your foot soldiers to put the clamps on, and use your weapons as weapons. Pretty much what Roos would do if he was coaching us.
