If I wanted a Yankees top I'd probably just buy a Yankees top

I have a few football [soccer tops] and they represent their premiership or championships with golden stars.

So perhaps 16 golden stars wrapped around one sleeve?

Love the shirts.

Very impressive Sean, well done. Would love for you to get it up.
Our clothing merchandise range generally falls far short of some other teams, eg Collingwood.

Back to the gym for me for some shoulder and back work so JESAULENKO would fit.

Please mock one up for me and make my day

I agree with the nickname thing, I see merit in having a nickname on there, but think the purity of it is better if it's their actual name. As most nicknames are a term of affection it could be done, but I think it better if its not.

"Jezza" and "Kouta" are probably exceptions, though.

As far as supporter wear goes I think the shirts are a pretty solid idea. As I said, names and new releases could be determined by a vote on the website, they could run for a period of time making them limited editions. Captains, Premiership Heroes etc could be the name of the game.

Goosebumps!, thanks Sean. Seriously looks great

Thanks, Sam. You are, ummm, the man.

I'm going to put together all the ideas and design variations in the next couple of days and fire off an e-mail to club. Outlining the product and whatnot. Fingers crossed it'll get a good reaction and we can take discussions further.

Carlton 2012: Lets remind them why they once feared the Dark.

Sean, don't email the club. I think emails just go into a big cyber-bin over there. Either use the ideas4carlton site, or download this thread, get it screenprinted onto a concrete retaining wall, and erect it in the middle of Visy Park. They MAY (just may) take some notice of it then.

But if you REALLY want people to sit up and take notice, make 50 of them and supply them at cost to us supporters. Then you'll have the AFL's lawyers on your doorstep, threatening to send you, your family, and any children you may ever have, into penury. Because that kind of thing can bring down the competition, you know.

I think if he could get away with it, Demetriou and the rest of the money-hungry bastards would send their attack dogs against those little old ladies who hand-knit scarves for their grandkiddies in club colours.
