Mate you could park on Carnarvon road in Silverwater near the Newington estate and walk along the bike/walk/run track and it would only take 15 minutes to walk to the gates, it would be alot quicker than parking at the stadium. Take the silverwater rd exit of the M4 turn left and first right and park anywhere there - I go running in the area about 6am during the warmer months - take my word for it you will say a shit load of time getting out of there and heading home rather than the bum fight onto parra road after.

I'm heading up as well. CK I think I'm on your flight - Virgin @ 7:15pm?

Anyway arrive at 10:45am in the morning and heading straight to the Novotel, I got my tickets through the Carltonians (pick them up tonight) and that's where they are based.

CK - I have a four seater VIP cab booked for after the game, it's picking me up from the Novotel, there already three of us in it so we might be looking for a 4th person if you are keen? It's $120.00 all up.

Gez, Danielle gave me your number, hopefully we can catch up again.

Pumped BIG TIME!!!!

Sounds like you are on the same flights I am - arrive about 10.45am and leave 7.15pm both on Virgin

Macfart's place by the sounds of things.

I've seen two games there. The first time we stayed overnight at the Novotel so we parked there. Second time we parked at mrs camel's sister's place, which was a 20 minute walk away. So I'm not sure. is the answer.

I went to a Socceroos v Man U game a few years back and they directed us to "on-site" parking about 20 minutes away. There's also a multi-level car park next to the stadium that may be open, but it might also be used up by corporates and the like???

Train from Central to Olympic Park direct services every 10 mins from 12pm and again after the match until 8pm.

Oh and CK, don't live near you so I'll see you at the airport or on the plane, cheers for the offer though.

Free, direct trains and buses. Below is a link to all of the info that you need.

I can not wait to see the Blue army.

GO BLUES.

That's brilliant, thanks for that. I presume the airport line (to central) would charge a fee?

Looks like there's a few of us arriving on the Virgin 10:40am flight. Should be good. May even break out in a Da da da da da
I'm departing Sydney on the 7:45pm flight. Thought I'd give myself that little extra time to check in.

Got my seat in section 142 - behind the goals which I assume will be the Carlton end.

Can't wait - bring it on...
