There's a station at Olympic Park and at the domestic airport. You would need to get the train into Sydney and then out again.

Go to Airport Domestic or Airport International Train Stations Platform 1.

Catch the train to Central station and change to Platform 19 for your train to Homebush (The Inner West line).

Travel time is approximately 39 minutes.

Cheers.Thanks for that.

This is more accurate...

Domestic Terminal to Olympic Park

Go to Airport Domestic or Airport International train Station.

At either of these stations go to Platform 1.

Catch the train to Central Station to catch your connection to Sydney Olympic Park Station.

There are three types of train services to and from Olympic Park Station, which is at Sydney Olympic Park:

1. The Olympic Park Sprint, which operates between Lidcombe Station and Olympic Park Station at 20 minute intervals.
2. There are direct services between Central Station and Olympic Park Station, on weekdays only. This is a limited service so it is best to check the timetable.
3. There are also Major Event train services. Visit 131500.com.au for more details.

Travel time is approximately one hour.

Oh, any idea if the availability of tickets pre-general admission sales includes Carlton members?

I'm heading down..... too few chances in this life to see big games- have to leap when you have the chance!

Just a hit and run for me - anyone know if it is worth splashing for the top end tickets??

Got my airline tickets today. Wouldn't miss a blues final for nothing. Same as the earlier post , back on the 7.15 flight. A bit worried for time. Was in Brisbane for last years final and it was awsome for the first 3 quarters. Hopefully the boys learnt something from that game?

Same leaving Sunday morning, back the same night

From what i can gather from a few people that have been there before, they highly recommend either Premium ($74.50) or Prime Seats ($65.00)

For all you guys needing public transport to and from ANZ Stadium:

www.131500.com.au

It's the official public transport website. It has trip planners and timetables.

Bear in mind, though, that it's Sydney public transport you'll be dealing with, so allow some wriggle room for potential (read: inevitable) clusterf***

So I take it the best way is Central-Lidcombe-Olympic Park

So can someone explain what on earth the venue map means? Can find it at that link

http://premier.ticketek.com.au/Venues/V ... US&s=21568

Want seats on the wing and preferably not at ground level but not too high either - so am I looking at premium on level 4?

Where are levels 2, 3 and 5? I'm confused!

But yeah heading up and can't wait!

This event wasn't known until last night so I'd check again tomorrow.

My flights are booked

They probably won't update the events until Monday at the very least.

Keep checking.

Sounds too easy, I'd prefer to panic & keep asking random questions about Sydney for the rest of the week if you wouldn't mind.

They'll most likely run trains to Olympic Park this Sunday - would be awfully surprised if they didn't.

Btw, did anyone get the answer re whether there will be specific Carlton members seating or whether it's a free-for-all?
