Ratten: Ok, Yazz you're in. Ando you're out. But when you walk away, Yazz look to ground & kick at something. Ando, I'll give you $5 if you smile - don't want to give Grro the heads up just yet...

am happy with these changes - but i hope that ratten points out that joseph needs to stop being a psuedo-toughguy-dickhead and give away 50meter penalty goals

Don`t think it was a smart move dropping Walker for Subi. I would have dropped Davies, (although i think he has a bright future) as i think Walker provides more run and versatility/options.

Agree PPW- and not sure why we rushed Joseph back in either..
Walker would provide far more than Davies for such a crucial game.

The key to winning this game will be the defensive pressure that is applied. The tackle count is one way of measuring this intensity. It needs to be like the 3rd quarter against Geelong and not the fist 2 quarters.

Yarran is a good in, but I can see plenty of merit in the keeping Walker in for Subi theory.

Walker need to learn two things

1. Stick a tackle
2. Kick

Actually I'd say his kicking is much better than his tackling, if he starts tackling alone with intensity he'd be worth putting back in.

Would have liked to see Anderson in for Davies.

little article up on the CFC website.

Dunno why - he was pretty mild with what he said. Now he just looks like an idiot, although thankfully Harvey is a bigger idiot.

Warnock must be right on top of his game this week - rucking and tackling will be where to win it.

And it will help if we don't kick 2.12 in the first half.

His old man (DOA) stated that he and a CFC player could not see Carlton making the finals without Fevola at FF.

We are playing for a home final this weekend.

Walker should be playing on the big Subi oval, but he certainly has lost alot of his intensity out there on the park.
Maybe he is winding down as the H & A season ends.
Maybe Tex thought he wouldn't make the finals in 2010 and his dad misinterpreted him.

I think we are a good chance with or without Tex.
Prior to the beginning of the season I posted that I thought we'd make the finals because Tex was going to get us there.

The 3 Amigos along with Hampson Hendo and Waite are going to give the Wanchors a big headache.

Oh god oh god I wish we'd win this one for a home final.

The midfield should be too strong for the Dockers.

Carlton by 14 points.

I want to win this week to stick it up Harvey, all the flogs who support Freo and all the flower in the media agreeing with Harvey's decision last week (seriously imagine if it was us who'd done that..."CARLTON TANKING AGAIN!").

But if we lose this week I am OK as long as we win next week!

Doesn't matter how fast you run, when you turn the ball over wth the frequency that walker does , you're a massive liability. Especially on wide open spaces of Subiaco.

Run fast.
Tackle hard.
Kick straight.
Come home with 4 points.

I am a big Walker fan but unfortunately he was dropped for a reason a few weeks ago and that was his lack of tackling pressure. He was given a repreive last week and again his tackling pressure was non existent and cost us goals.

This is a massive game and unfortunately he did not adhere to what was asked of him when he came back to the seniors so i have to agree with the decision to drop him.

Does he have a future with the club? Only Walks himself can address that.
