Just have to say isn't it great that Millburn still cops it! I was sitting with some cats fans and they asked what it was about. When I said his disgraceful cowardly hit on SOS, they were floored.

Love it.

We will keep it up until the prick retires.

I still maintain he left pp in a dress as a disguise that day.....

The Cats supporters in front of us knew exactly what it was about and yelled out, 'Get over it!'
I think it's a wonderful thing that we can sit where we like in our game and not have to worry too much about getting into a fight or getting killed for supporting the opposite team to the person in front of you. If Carazzo had have busted Gazza's head, we could have yelled out, "Get over it!" back. :smoking:

Ohhhhh god....... this is gonna hurt me and please don't start throwing crap my way cause I think that what Milburn did was one of the most sickening and disgusting things i have ever seen in football EVER...................

BUT..........

I read an interview with Milbrun a few years back and he talks about that as the worst moment in his life.

The interview was about something totally different and the reporter never asked him directly about the incident on SOS, Milburn brought it up himself and I must admit, he did sound quite appologetic and remorseful about the incident.

He went on to say that when he walked off the ground and "Clapped"............ he was doing so in an apologetic way to the crowd and that it was misjudged!

Don't get me wrong............ I still have trouble forgiving him................ but he does talk about the incident with great regret and disgust.

Ryan, I have these beans... they are magic beans. If you give me $1000 I'll sell you the beans because they will bring you untold wealth to you and your family

Ryan did Milburn also mention that he was smiling when he was clapping?

Perhaps he was applauding our good work?

Also remember seeing Ratts come off with busted ribs that day... Braddles and Kouta copped high knocks that would earn you a month by today's interpretations.

I was sitting about 6 six seats away from SOS and I looked over a couple of times to see if he was laughing when Milburn copped it, but Ross Lyon's head kept getting in the way.

I thought Ratts came off with a dislocated elbow that day. Seeing a tough nut showing that much pain with his arm pointing the wrong angle made me feel sick to my stomach.

As a slightly funny aside to that day, because SOS visited the dark side of the planet Coosbane, the rest of the guys were telling him he kicked 6 in the first half before he got KO'd, and their prank was only discovered when he overheard them telling Mark Porter the same thing, who also got concussed that day.

kind of like a rapist or murderer saying that the day they did the wrong thing was the worst in their life and that they really regret it.

I guess that makes it all ok eh?

Poor wittle Darwen he's the silent victim in all of this

Geez...... Bit overboard there don't you think?

I'm not feeling sorry for him and never suggested we should be throwing sympathy at him.

Definitely an elbow for Ratts KK, good memory.

Porter may have had the rib injury.

Diesel broke Rhys-Jones' jaw with what was practically a king hit, yet we came to love him.
We have admired our toughest players even when they crossed the line.
I'm with the Cat's fans, get over it.

You bunch of ddickheads. It's footy, and it happens. If I were Darren Milburn, I would have done exactly the same thing and knocked him out. I swear, I reckon some of you have never played the game. Milburn and SOS have discussed it in private and it's OK by them...so it should be ok by the rabid supporter. I actually had dinner with Simon Beaumont that night. In his words (and anyone else that's played the game)...'that's footy'.

C'mon Doc, lighten up, we don't all wine and dine with the stars and punters having long memories is hardly a surprise. Indeed, "that's footy."

Sure, but where's your sense of theatre, Doc?

The hip to the face would be long forgotten if it weren't for the round of applause.

Tough tits, Dazzler. Play on.
