So I'll ask you the same question then (that doesn't let you off answering the question J&K)

What moves would you have made ryan?

Match winning moves....not shuffling deck chairs in the last quarter.

JR owned Stevie J ....again
Gibbs and Murph were good
Hendo will be great, long term
Army was good
Thought Simmo and Robbo gave 110%
Waite was ok.
Judd....shocking disposal, worst game for the club
Eddie...why bother even running out on the ground? Quickly becoming our Leon Davis...goes missing when it matters.

Missed our chances in the 3rd qt which really hurt us.

Bring on the shockers....reckon we'll do ok.

Some very ordinary decision making tonight and the usual disposal issues let us down. We really had the better of the third quarter and should have been much closer going in to the last quarter.

Pretty happy with Hendo's game, he's going to be a very good player for a long time for us. Bower was pantsed tonight by Pods and Mooney, and Carrots did well in the midfield on Gary but wouldn't it be nice to just chuck him down forward and know he's capable of a 3 goal quarter - probably the one area where he's clearly got it over Juddy.

how true is this???

Fevola (for as much as I live him) carries a lot of baggage and has 2, maybe 3 good years left in him.

Hendo is 20 and still developing and had 10 years left in him.

PLUS...... We got Lucas too!

No need to be harsh on him. I actually kind of aggree with him. We had nobody tonight that even looked like a chance of stepping up and being a match winner.

But if we just moved them to a different part of the ground then they would have just turned into match winners?

Missed opportunities but tonight showed where we are in terms of development and improvement to get to the top -wasnt that disappointed but thought we should have been closer in the third

Still enjoyed efforts of Hendo ROBBO (Surely NRS this week)- needs to keep it simple
thought murphy and gibbs were excellent -206 another good game -thought waitey was also

Eddie and JEFFY down and ran often and kicked often to the wrong places - carrazzo was very good on Ablett -free in the last quarter by non officiating umpire was a joke

Bower seems to have lost poise and strength -I like him but isnt playing as well as earlier in the season

Disposal ordinary- need more pressure on ball carrier - tackles dont stick

backline under siege - need to go down the corridor more

Although not happy that we lost, there was a lot to like..

- Judd was terrible..Murphy stepped up
- Stupid mistakes..Grigg missing a sitter, Robinson bombing away when he could have ran an extra 30 meteres..ditto Jeffrey, sloppy kicking into 50
- Can we stop with the no look handball...AW i am looking at you!!

Considering how we botched so much of it, we pushed Geelong..As long as the boys come switched on next week, we will roll the dockers next week..

well settle down first and don't be so aggressive..... But if you really want to discuss it.....

for starters,.....
I probably would have left waite and Henderson up forward rather than had them push up the ground so much.

A certain moment in the last qtr rings a bell when arfmfield took everybody on and charged up through the centre with amazing pace, but when he got to half forward he was forced to slow down and just kick and hope..... Cause there was nobody in front of him.

We play with a socce. Mentality sometimes, which can be effective. But I think we need to remind ourselves that this is still austalian football...... We need forwards up home.

Lost it in third we had momentum but couldnt convert and generally when you put lots of effort in but dont get results and the cats get easy goals against the tide then generally the result that happened in the last quarter eventuates

we had our chances in the third and once the cats got back they never looked back

Had we gone into the last on even level or in front then we may have had a closer result or maybe had the win

But there are positives and i still think that Blues would come away thinking we can still win on the night if we where lucky enought to meet the cats again

very different to the Pies loss which was a disaster

Well you entered a discussion I directed to someone else....but I'm always happy to discuss it.

When we're struggling to get the ball out of defence you need to have Hendo and Wiate push up. They were both effective inside 50 tonight, but both have strengths in leading further up the ground rather than being stay at home forwards.

It'd be hard for them to win a game from inside 50 when we were breaking down taking the ball from defence...your point is a good one though, given they were effective inside 50 it would have been nice to be able to utilise them there rather than having them push up.

thought we showed real promise but lacked composure and the finish.
the two areas we should be focusing on are our tackling and disposal.

BUT, i actually thought this showed that our past two victories against them weren't flukes. we had our opportunities but couldn't grasp them.

i thought waite was awesome. took a bunch of contested marks and kicked 3 goals.
henderson continues to improve.

walker/grigg/armfield/robinson - great endeavour, frustrating disposal.
judd's disposal has let him down for much of the year. seems to pull back on his kicking whether passing or shooting for goal. hope he works on this over summer.

thought sauce was ok but think we look more dangerous with hampson.
would also think about bringing back yarran, if he plays well for the bullants. he will be important on the large expanse of subiaco.
betts & garlett need to lift their games, in different ways. (didn't mind betts going into the middle for a bit). would like to see walker play in the middle a bit.
Bower has been disappointing this year, relative to his potential. hopefully, he will get it back with a proper pre-season.

overall, we played much better & should be able to beat the dockers if we play with similar intensity.

Just home from the game and pretty much expected to lose and the margin didnt really reflect the game.
The 3rd quarter was where we lost any chance of winning, had all the play yet didnt capitalize on the scoreboard. Geelong went forward a handful of times and goaled. Grigg missing that goal blew any chance we had.
Our defenders continually played from behind and i lost count of the goals they scored from our turnovers.
Gibbs was good as was Murphy. Carrazzo did a good job on Ablett until late in the match when he turned it on (with the help of the umpires).
Robbo didnt stop trying, Jacobs was great as was Warnock. I would like to see the ruck stats as I am sure we dominated in this area.
I have no idea what was wrong with Judd tonight. Betts has to be dropped.
A few changes for next week, Betts out as well as Davies. It will be hard for Hampson to come back in.
Disappointing night.

Our kicking skills let us down again. I like the endeavour of Armfield and Robinson, but gee they kill us with their atrocious kicking, are they a luxury we can't afford? And just when I thought Grigg's kicking had improved, arggh!

At the moment Garlett is a flat track bully, absolutely choked tonight, but he's just a kid he'll get better.

Time's up for Eddie, he appears to be playing without confidence.

Walker; trade time.

Is Judd injured? I've never seen him kick so badly, his kicking hasn't been that flash in recent weeks either.

All in all could have been worse, if we'd taken our chances when we had the ascendancy....

Yup. We don't need Robinson's crap kicking. His three goals he fluked off left and right boots tonight, we didn't need. Can't kick....4 goals.

I've seen Armfield do that several times this year - grab the ball and charge down to half forward leaving his opponents in his wake but THERE IS NO ONE TO KICK TO.

Yeah usual story - poor decision making, poor skills and poor kicking. Third quarter we were playing ALL over them and the game was ours to take but those missed shots at goal, those 3 out-on-the-fulls in about 3 minutes and general errors cost us :( Can't do that against a team like the Cats and not pay the price for it.

I'm so @#$%&! annoyed we made a downhill skier like Podsiadly look good. I can't stand that bloke. Ah well he can't kick his usual bag against a shit opponent at Skilled next week

Sorely need a big defender. Russell owned Johnsn, Jamo did OK overall but he's a bit small framed and Bower had what I thought was another poor game.

Judd  clanger central tonight. Avoiding Big Footy for a few days!

Geez you're a !@#$%& bore.

What match winning moves would you have made if you were coach?

None of your crap and deflection. Lets see some answers.

You mentioned Bower moving up the field and Waite going back.

Tell us your top 5 moves you'd have made to win the match.

And ur predictable and hang on my every word....I did not criticise your beloved coach I merely pointed out two areas where we were found out....geez dude how old are you seriously???? In fact the players efforts tonight for 3and a bit quarters were very good and if they play with the same intensity next week they will get the job done....now off you go little fella....

Mate, you said no match winning moves from our side.

Stop defelecting, and tell us all what match winning moves you'd have like to have seen. Surely it can't be that hard.
