The scoreline really isn't a reflection of the game; but it is an indictment on our players.

Percentage could play a big part of where we finish the season, so just rolling over like this is unacceptable.

about the biggest positive unfortunately

we continually shot ourselves in the foot and then rolled over

decent effort though i guess

but frustrating

Didn't expect to win but in the end we should of been a lot closer.

Disappointing finish but some positives.

See you at Subi next weeks boys. Be ready for the flower Dockers.

the result should've been closer, 99% of the problems come mentally, nevertheless it was a decent crack. should down the dockers next week.

Was reliably told tonight by someone in the know (associated with Geelong) that Joel Selwood had a sore throat during the week.

Look - it was what it was tonight...very good ball use from them - atrocious ball use and decision making by us.

Been like that for the past two weeks, just poor opposition. Found out tonight.

These have been our issues all year.

No surprises there. Much to build on though.

Least they had a crack. Geelong are just an awesome team who can flick the switch when they need to and pile on the pressure. There were a couple of five minute periods there where we just could not hit a target because of their pressure from behind and anticipation in front. Made the kicking look bad when it was just the better reading of the play from Cats players half the time.

Disappointing final margin but really, that's where we are at I reckon.

Garlett was really disappointing for me though.

Yeah, we should have had that Gartlett fellow, or Yarren in instead.

Too many blokes who can't kick a footy. For all his effort, Mitch Robinson isn't a good footballer. To make matters worse - he's a dumb footballer. Is it asking too much to get smart footballers who can kick into the club? Walker, Robinson, Grigg, Bower, Ellard, Armfield all VFL standard by foot and brain tonight. You can carry one or two each week - but not half a dozen.

Totally agree. We undo a lot of good work by constantly butchering the ball. Get found out against the better sides.

Missed their chances early in the third then got a couple of really bad decision to Ablett then dropped their bundle = score was about right in the end as they missed plenty

Still 59 points better than the dogs and the cats have won 19 in a row at the Ice Rink

Aside from Walker all those blokes have played not much footy really.

is that such a surprise? :?

Geelong players have supreme confidence in each other, we haven't learnt that quite yet.

We HAVE to take maximum advantage of our opportunities, they don't.

I'm not happy with the final result, but I'm sure they will learn heaps from it.

Irrelevant. They're professional footballers. Their disposal by foot was one of the reasons they got employed into a system whereby their kicking should have improved and not regressed. I'm prepared to wait for the brain to engage, but to be perfectly honest - I can't see it happening with the likes of Robinson and Grigg.
