Honestly think this could go either way - if you want a bet for this game, wait until Friday afternoon when they release the total match score over/under and unless they have set it ridiculously high, go for the over. Usually has odds of around $1.85-$1.90.

Last weekend had a multi of:

- Collingwood to score 121+
- Carlton at the line (-20.5)
- Fremantle first to 25 points
- Geelong at the line (-6.5)
- Port Adelaide to win
- Brisbane first to 25 points
- Hawthorn at the line (-6.5)
- St Kilda at the line (-23.5)

Paying $98.20.........had $10 on it

Not too mention a scathing article written by any former player/coach in the next three days would be helpful as well.....

Nice reference to Grigg at the end.

But if he's in our best 22, why hasn't he played all season.

I've seen softer contact get weeks. The MRP is ridiculously flawed.

He would have won most amateur bouts I've seen with those scoring punches.

..regardin' chappy.. ..it is weird.. ..he's a hard, physical player.. ..don't mind the bumping and jostling.. ..but thrown punches, are thrown punches.. ..and thats what they were, they connected.. ..so, if it's front on punches to the chest.. ..go for it.. ..not even a free kick awarded..!!..

Maybe because he had to get his fitness up, learn a few things and implement them at VFL level. Now he knows what is required the rest is up to him.

Grigg wasn't always an inside mid.. probably spent a lot of time getting that down before seniors

I'll take your word for it. But I'm seem to remember reports of him playing pretty well in the magoos when we where playing pretty ordinary in the firsts, the MC selected him for a week and then dropped him again. I also seem to remember Ellard bashing down the door for 2 or three months and Warnock and Hammer not getting a guernsey when we were just average in the ruck.

All four now look like they are in the best 22 or at least should have been considered far earlier..

The MC didn't cover themselves in glory for about two months there.

Ratts is a big fan on bringing in fresh players late in the season to give us some energy. Could be a master stroke and tactic that other clubs are copying in years to come.

Dropping Grigg after his terrible game against the Bears seems to have worked well also.

Sooo....... a masterstroke is to keep the players you need to win games out of the team until you REALLY need to win games. HHmmmm Ponderous man truly ponderous.

Not sure thats gunna catch on, but I'll watch with interest to see how many other sides do it.

You've got to be mindful of whose reports you're reading. Some people know what they are looking at, some have blinkers on and some don't have much clue.

Still seems to like being a linkman but hopefully the more time he starts in the centre square the more effective he'll be.

Watching the replay today he still bombed the ball inside 50 to Kelvin Moore on Betts or Garlett on a few occassions - not good enough.

I also watched the replay today and Grigga wasnt the only one kickin and hoping.

Some of our most experienced and best ball users were doing it as well.

Does my F!@#$% head in.

FFS Fev aint there anymore we need to be much better at our I50 entries.
