Ideally, I'd have:

OUT: Carrazzo, Davies, Joseph
IN: Walker, Fisher, Austin

FB: Austin, Jamison, Russell
HB: Walker, Bower, Armfield
C: Simpson, Ellard, Gibbs

Did silky play last week? That would make it 4 changes!

I thought Joseph and Carazzo got played in to a bit of form....if either of them were going to be dropped it wouldn't be after a win like that.....

I hope Davies gets another go....it will depend upon how he followed the coaches rules I'd suppose....

Is Yarran fit?

If so, would Yarran in for Davies be a stupid move?

If the weather isn't shaping up to be great, then Bower/Jamo/JR should be able to handle Richmond down back.

The extra small option in wet weather may be useful, especially a sure handler like Yarran.

No doubt Davies has a future, but he was well off the pace last week. We have an opportunity to play finals at the G this year, every effort should be devoted to that goal right now. That opportunity represents team development.

I haven't been too impressed with AJ this year, and have felt he was on borrowed time.
Having watched the replay of last week's game a few times I was most impressed with the desperation, intensity and guts AJ showed with his attack on the ball. He never was second to the free footy. That's what everyone should be doing, so if he keeps that up, he can stay.

Now, has Walker got the same guts and determination as AJ? Does Austin? Does Houlihan? Does Yarran? If not, they aren't ready for a call up.

I am expecting Austin to be played in the last few games because if we were to make the finals and there was an injury to Jamison or Bower then we only have Thornton who is tried and proven, Davies whose still a novice and Austin who we haven't seen in 2010.

Ratts did hint no change this week. Just quiely I am expecting Tex to be selected and Davies to be replaced.
I'm expecting Fisher's turn to be next week against The Cats.

Weather says isolated showers starting late afternoon - so hopefully after the footy. Tigers have had a lot more experience in shitty conditions than we have.

Changes for this week?

Does Aaron Joseph need a break? Walks should come back in.. Where is Houla at? Tough time of year to try and crack it back into the senior team.

The match ups this week should be interesting. Mitch the defensive forward role again. Carrazzo to Cotchin?

With the way footy is heading, as in Hodge, the play maker from half back, is Gibbs going to be our designated backman along these lines?

Should be a cracker crowd.

No changes for me this week unless someone is injured.
Cotchin is still suspended.

That's a lot of changes at Richmond......

Would someone please tell them that tanking this year is not going to get them Judd? :donk:

That brings the number of players used this season by the Tigers to a total of 41 out of a possible 47. Only Dylan Grimes and McMahon have failed to get a game off the senior list.

Glad to see the Tigers are at least trying everything they can with Gourdis. Full back is a sound choice for him with his pace off the mark. That midfield will be good in time, but those smalls listed up forward are disgustingly poor. Doubt that it will be too much like that on game day.

Work hard and we win. Work hard, and work smart, and we win by plenty.

Has he, Gourdis, played much? I know there was some interest in the past in his ability.

Debut. Quickest player at draft camp in his year (2007), went right through to the pre-season draft. Some conjecture as to why we didn't snatch him up earlier. Was a forward as a junior.

I'll be disappointed if we don't get a percentage boost out of this one. Blues by 89.

Keep Judd below 25 possessions, we win.

Our latest form shows we are a 10 goal last quarter team.
Our first quarter last week was very competitive and intensity was right up there.
Judd was amazing. He inspired a 3 goal head start.

That leaves us with a 13 goal head start, then we build on that.

Yeah Doc, I reckon you're close with 89. Gourdis at FB. Yeah right.
They're playing for a loss. We're playing for a win.

A place in our final 22 in the first Final is at stake here for all the players.
There's still plenty on the line for the questionable Blues.
They have a lot to prove.

We can't lose, except to ourselves.

I really like seeing Gibbs being named foward of centre.
