This one is gonna be huge.We are gonna be in for a torrid afternoon.Remember,Hardwick was schooled by the master of spite and vindictivness, one K.Sheedy.No one hates Carlton more than Sheedy. Not your everyday hate, but a very vindictive and spitefull hate. And if you dont believe me,ask Robert Walls. There fued has only been going for about 40years.And dont worry,Hardwick would have learnt his lesson's very well from his old master. And being Clarksons right handman would have only fuelled that hate.................dont worry, the Tigers are gonna come out fighting scratching, biting, spitting, you name it,every dirty low down trick in the book............forget about game plans, its gonna be war, last man standing sort of stuff. And dont worry,Jarrod Waite WILL be targeted. That is another family fued that goes way back...........anyone who is remotely considered soft will suffer from a physical onslaught. The Tigers no there season is stuffed. They will do anything to derail ours...................so boys, nothing fancy, just old fashioned tough footy. And somehow keep your heads or we wll go down in a screaming heap.

Prefer Austin and T-Bird before Carlos in defense.

He schooled Lloyd a couple of times IIRC
Started his career down back and was rarely beaten heavily

Jonathan Brown would disagree with you

In the aerial contests MAYBE...

but what about his skills and decision making when he had the ball? you would not feel comfortable with him having the ball in his hands in the D50

Stop Reiwoldt and you stop Richmond.

I'd bring in T-Bird as the third man up for Davies and drop Hadley for Chris Johnson. A bit of extra defence and some extra nice disposal.

..sure.. ..but i'd rather stop newman and delids, and stifle martin in the center.. ..that way you'll take away revolt's opportunities..

Disagree with T-Bird coming back in would rather Tex or Hoops if thats the case. Touch more flexible IMO.

I,d only have Johnson back in the side if he played like he did against Port, probably still prefer Hads ATM.

have to disagree Hellas...
I think we are a better, tougher team with Hadley in..and the only one I want back in right now is Hoops...though I'd be happy with no change at all this week.

If we win the clearances from the centre we will win the game. Lots of midfield pressure to limit the quantity and quality of their foward entries will prevent them from kicking a winning score.

Forecast for Saturday is showers developing later in the day, so hopefully it stays fine for the game.

I'd only have Johnson back in the side if Shane O'Sullivan has spent the past 8 months developing a DNA mutation device that would turn Chris Johnson into a combination of Gary Ablett Jnr and Jonathan Brown. Then and only then.

If we win only one more game and the Hawks, North and Swans win all their remaining games - we will finish 9th.

Of if we lose all three we are likely to miss out but then if you win only 10 games you shouldn't be there anyway.

North are playing ST Kilda this week. We are the only suckers in the 8 that North can beat. (freo in Melbourne doesn't count)
Sydney is playing Freo in Subi.
Hawthorn has to play Collingwood at the G.

Oh c'mon he played well against Port before he got injured.

If he replicated that form i believe he may have something to offer.........

That's fair enough too.
Keen for Davies to get a good idea of the increased AFL tempo. Got a good feeling about him.

+1

Not to mention goals from clearances like at the start of the 4th quarter against Essendon*. Put their defence under pressure and give our forwards every opportunity.

You'd have to say that Hawthorn in their premiership year and the Saints both have only ok defences...the players just look better because of the 'structures' and quality of the rest of the team. Id say our defence is only ok atm

It is important that Chris Newman is stop on Saturday. I have watched most of Richmond's games this year and they love to get the ball in his hands. He is a very good kick.

Carrazo on Bret Delitio

Mitch on Chris Newman

Ellard and Hadley should take care of Martin and Tuck.
