Maybe trade sauce for Jackson Trengove at Port, They will be desperate for a quality Ruckman as Brogan is at the end of his career, and we groom trengove as a tall defender. Win win for both teams. Sauce a croweater, Tregove a Vic, both go home and get regular game time. Just a maybe!

..no trades this year..!!.. ..we have to still see how the Krooz comes back from his knee reco.. ..nowadays they're usually not hindered, but it will take him a long time to come good in the ruck again, so he may play a KPF role for most of next season.. ..also, sometimes a knee once done, becomes a recurring problem.. ..so, next year i'd be playing the ruck combo of knockers and hammer, with sauce as backup depth and krooz up fwd.. ..and reassess at end on next season.. ..our rucks are only gonna get better anyway, so no need to worry about losing any potential trade value..

No chance Port will trade Jackson Trengrove for sauce, a high draft pick from only a few years back...it would be like us trading Kane Lucas.

hasnt trengrove had injury troubles?

I'm sure the TC regulars know what I think about our ruckmen...freaks.

Ruckmen are very important
3 mobile ruckmen can play in the same team rotating between ruck/ FF/IC.

Sauce is a good prospect and would like to keep him.
I have no doubt that Sauce will be traded. He has the least upside of the 4 imo.
I have no doubt that there is already teams lining up to trade Hammer despite the fact we contracted him for 3 years.

If you can't see what Hammer offers the team over Sauce, then just refer to Kouta's post again:

Quote:
I haven't seen Jacobs drop back in a final and spoil Bradshaw to help out his teammates.

I haven't seen Sauce chase two defenders down and turn it over to create a scoring chance for Garlett.

I haven't seen Sauce win the tap, charge forward and mark to kick a goal from CHF.

I haven't see Sauce chase Dale Thomas for 50 metres plus and pressure his kick.

I haven't seen Sauce run down midfielders.

It's a far cry from the days of Dylan McLaren and Cain Ackland, that's for sure.
