Bang your head all you like but before you do take off your rose coloured glasses. He was not up to it. Still has a long way to go but has time on his side. His direct opponent should have kicked 6 goals but for poor kicking. Has not been consistently playing well for the Bullants like Ellard to justify retaining him. What is it with Carlton supporters. Apparently after a good win against an ordinary side no one deserves the chop.

Davies has actually been a regular stand-out at Bullants level as a medium/tall defender, and he was brought in for Walker. He also was not Hartingham's opponent all night. Hartingham actually made a mockery of Jamison and Bower at times as they were caught watching their man instead of the play.

I read/heard this morning, obviously tounge in cheek, that Dustin Fletcher may want to retire if Mitch played on him every week.

No Riewoldt = No Richmond.

Put Bower, Jamison and Gibbs on him.

Seriously though Bower is the obvious matchup but the others will need to help him to fill the hole and go 3rd man up.

Agree, whatever we do we mustn't put Jamo on who has resorted to holding his man and chopping of arms lately. A big concern IMO.

Jamo has been doing those silly things all year.
I don't know what has happened to his form and confidence.
He needs a shrink imo.
At least he showed a bit more attack on Friday.
Reiwoldt will have a ball on Jamo imo...but who else is there for FB?
No one. Walker is too short and he doesn't have that mighty fist for spoils as he used to. Jamo it is.

I'm backing our boys to win 2 of our last 3 games. I believe we will beat Richmond and Freo at Subi. Geelong at Etihad looks beyond us at this stage only because of the venue. The confidence will be up after last week.

Carazzo is a worry, turn overs kill you in the modern game like never before. Every time he gets the ball I find myself screaming " For God's sake hand ball, don't kick it". Davies has so much potential, he should stay in for one more game at least.

I just hope the players aren't too full of themselves; we beat rubbish. Less than 100% against the Tiggers and we'll get rolled.

Waite was on Before The Game on Saturday night (much to the delight of Sam and Hughesy) and mentioned that they knew they had to keep it up against Richmond or Friday's win would be meaningless.

Walkers shoddy disposal and refusal to lay tackles got him dropped and I can't beleive people want him straight back in. Dont be fooled by his 45 odd touches against Franskton. Half the posters on this board would get those numbers against Frankston...they shouldn't be in the VFL. I never want him in defence again until he wants to put his body in. Outside wing/HFF only.

If we win only one more game and the Hawks, North and Swans win all their remaining games - we will finish 9th.

Of if we lose all three we are likely to miss out but then if you win only 10 games you shouldn't be there anyway.
