Brad Fisher plays his 100th game tomorrow night.

It's been a long time coming but it looks like he will finally get there.

Well done Fish...

No not yet. I know I'm being a little presumptious but it would be good to see Fish get to 100....

Not playing, along with Walks and Yarran. And that's from Walkers old man.

He hasn't been up to it since 2007 really. We have done really well to get as much as we have out of a number 72 draft pick. The game has changed a lot from when he begun in 2003 till now, and doing his knee in 2004 probably curtailed his development even more than people realise (less mobile, less quick, worse kick, falling over all the time etc).

Be nice to see him get 100 up, but we really need all hands on deck in our current situation, not a guy who can only take a contested mark every now and again, offering litterally nothing else.

farewell game against the cats = replaces hendo with 'soreness'. And by soreness i mean a week off before the finals.

So wave the white flag against a side we have beaten the last two times we have played them :screwy:

Unless you think we are certainties and can rest players. This game will still be important, we would like to win and avoid a potential interstate trip.

I fear Fish may end on 99.

Depending on how things work out this week, and over the coming fortnight, if we secure a finals berth before our trip to Perth it'd be shocking of the club to strand Fish on 99.

Its always good to do the right thing.Fish deserves his 100 without doubt. When we were totally crap he was one who put his hand up week after week.Been a great servant of the club and MUST be rewarded.

I agree, despite saying his time was up after thr round 22 game against Hawks in 2008. The game became too fast for Fisher, Wiggins and Cloke and they became a liability without the x factor to bring to the table. Fisher's still here and is still a good mark.

I said a while back that I would think the club would do the right thing and allow him to play his 100th but that would be against teams we're most likely to lose against: Collingwood and Geelong. So I'm still predicting he'll be recalled against the Cats....but only if we beat Richmond next weekend.

Sure hope you are right Bondi..................theres more to footy than marks, kicks and handballs.Team spirit and clubmanship is built around acts like rewarding effort.Camaradie and togetherness are far more important than a lot realize.
