Have a cry. They copped it, we copped it too. For us to make a point of them being cheats is extremely rich. What they did back then has no effect on their current team. Just get over it.

Tell tale signs of an opposition supporter trolling:

1) Sign up to the site the week of the game - check
2) Bait others with salary cap bullshit - check
3) When all else fails bring up Judd's AFL-approved Visy contract - check

At least if you're going to come on here to troll don't be so gutless and hide your true colours.

I've got a feeling that we won't find out if you've got the guts unless things are looking rosy for you at about 10pm tomorrow night.

Weak as piss....

Ha ha.. you do have a few brain cells between you.

No need to wait til 10pm tomorrow night, I'll just let you know how shite you are now.

Crikey, for one, calling us cheats - pleeeeeeease. I didn't bring up the salary cap rubbish, one of your blokes called us cheats, and I was informed that it was all about salary cap breaches. POT - KETTLE - BLACK... I hear your boys are still going to Dick Pratt's grave to pick up their brown paper bags  We both cheated, enough said.

You have a pack of sheilas (no offence to the TalkingCarlton ladies) playing for you, we've seen that the last 6 times you have played us. Must be agony watching your 'boys' losing time after time to a team that is considered further behind you in development. All those years of being shite, and tanking, have really paid off for you.

All that BS aside, you just haven't been good enough against us, and seem to find it hard to locate your testicals when you play us. If you don't win tomorrow night, you might as well give it away.

What you're cooking - it smells like shit

Put White back in the team. We were going strong when he and Lucas were down back.

He's no longer a TC member.

Let's get back on topic and don't give this guy any more oxygen.

I watch the Bullies every week and to be fair Davies deserves a crack. He is a solid body and goes in hard. Can play on small but Monfries etc will be too smart for him at this stage. Hardingham would seem a good fit for him. Hadley is also on the bottom of every pack in the Bullies so as we have been whining about an inside mid he probably deserves a spot too. Have to make sure we hit in hard and don't give them space to use their speed advantage

Shame trolly is gone..I was gonna show him the long list that Don Stuie made about what exactly is up with Bombers. Great reading!

Seriously, what would you have done differently?

We have almost our entire side out of form and we don't exactly have any Gary Abletts sitting in the reserves waiting to come in.

I would have thought hardness was the only prerequisite for getting a game this week, and those that have been brought in tick that box.

We have returned to the dark days of 2002-2007 when we were promoting guys in the reserves who did not deserve promotion, whose form didn't warrant a game in the seniors. Davies and Hadley are the case this time. These guys dont deserve promotion at the moment

Our list is still so deficient unfortunately. Hardeness is required but we have failed to address our constant weakness against these scumbags- speed. Hads and Davies will be found wanting

But I asked you what you would have done differently?

You say that we have promoted guys from the reserves that didn't deserve a game, well who else could we promote is the question? If the answer is no one, then you must have wanted to maintain the staus quo?

Someone had to pay this week for the crap that we dished up last week, and have consistantly dished up for the past 8 weeks. I don't really have a problem with it.

Surely things can't get any worse by changing a few players in a terribly out of form team?

To Be honest Mil, I dont know what else to do.
The underlying problem is that the list isn't that good and with both the seniors and bullants in deplorable form there is no positive options for promotion. And IMO Ratts is simply not up to it

My biggest gripe is that we seem to be unable to develop our list with a reasonable sort of upcurve. We just seem unable to have players take the next step and improve the side, and consistently so.

The form and standard of our team at the moment is totally unnacceptable. And promoting players who simply do not deserve promotion is a sad reflection of the state of the team and the list

But sorry I dont have other options, just a sick, horrible feeling in my guts about my Blues...

Trained well Thursday. I'd expect the Bumbers to target the bruised pectoral, but for Davies and Robbo to deal with the offenders. And I mean deal with them.

Fair enough Marci, and i agree with you about the sick feeling.....

To be honest, if we lose tonight I think there are not many options left but to make massive changes at the club - in every department. Not to say that we shouldn't make those same changes if we happen to win, just that a loss will be completely unacceptable and a defining moment for the club.

The positive that I go into tonight's game with is that Marcus Davies gets to make his debut. I reckon that it would be the biggest buzz in football to come into a game like this, and I am keen to see how he goes.

The good thing about tonight is we will find out if the players have any pride in the jumper whatsoever. Those who don't show something tonight shouldn't play for the rest of the year IMO.

GO BLUES!!

Ratten's to-ing and fro-ing with Robbo over the course of the season has really surprised me. For all his shortcomings, at the very least he'll have a red hot crack, which I thought a coach would recognise and reward.

..furthermore, with Krooz out for the season, you'd figure players that block and use their body would be viewed favourably at the selection table.. .... ..last game or two that he played for us, in our F50 at a stoppage Robbo put on a perfect block for Judd, timed brilliantly, allowing him to get the ruck-tap and kick a goal.. ..first thing Judd did after kicking the goal was point and run over to Robbo to acknowledge what he did.. ..stood out in my mind cos it's a bloody rarity for us..

I understand the feeling.....it's a mixture of hoping against hope....and a bit of apprehension.

Even last week; I had hoped to see some sort of resurgence from us because it was bloody C/wood!......but no.

Only thing left to do is cross the fingers.....

Robbo's inability to stay in the team may be linked to not following coaches instructions. No one doubts his ability to go in hard but if you are going to win the footy and then give it straight back to the opposition you aren't much use to the team. He has the tools to be of use to the team but does his ego allow him to try and not be the hero and take every player on.

Similar thing kept Houli out of the team - not following instructions; look at what Roos had to say yesterday (BTW you can really tell he's coming to the end)

Quote:
In a rare public expression of frustration, Roos said he was bewildered that some of his talented young players had failed to take the opportunity to press their case for selection.

"As a senior coach, it surprises me that players can't work out that 'We just got beaten by 70, I might start doing what the development coaches are asking me to do' but sometimes it just doesn't happen," he said before training at the SCG on Thursday.

"Eventually, if it doesn't get through, they go and find something else to do.

"At the moment there are two or three guys that should be playing that just aren't, simply because of their own lack of performance and more specifically, they just don't want to do what we're asking them to do."

honestly I think the comment regarding Dick Pratt's grave and brown paper bags is below the belt. Those who knew him would be pretty offended. Disappointing. At least try and be a decent person.
