Yarran and Garlett will soon be so far ahead of Betts.

Playing them in the same side is fine, just not in the same area.

Carlton 2012: Lets remind them why they once feared the Dark.

A big deficit playing 3 of these guys is that they can only play forward.
Collingwood's midfielders can all play forward and vice versa. (Not the talls obviously)
It just limits options too much.

Pick 1, 2 at most.

Garlett probably needs to go for the current balance of the team at the moment.

Yarran will eventually (hopefully) get a big enough tank to go midfield/half-back. Problem is relying on 2 blokes who have played around 20 games to win games for you (in Garlett and Yarran), and a confused Irishmen on top of that.

Hindsight is 20-20 obviously, but we found a stop gap solution which has been found wanting longer term. But is it more down to the individuals lack of experience/consistency than the plan itself?

Mate you guys are trippin, the ONLY time we've looked dangerous this year is when the three amigos have been up and running. They're not the problem, they're young and inconsistent but their efforts are improving.

How are they going to kick goals with the delivery into our forward line. The ball wasn't in our forward line in the first half. At least Garlett and Betts put their heads over the ball and are probably our best tacklers. IMO Setanta is still our best option, especially against bigbodies obrien, reid etc. Brad Fisher gives us no future, just one mark when the game is lost every week. Could we select proactively and give Levi a go. I predict he will do no worse

Drop Ellard, Bring in Hadley, we need experience and confidence back in our side.
Bring back Thornton!!! I dont understand why he’s even out..?
Leave Waite permanently up in our Forward Line.
Can Ratten not see we need a big guy up there all the time..
Use Waite like we did Fev, make him the option coming into the 50! NOT EDDIE BETTS 2 on 1!!!
Love Hampsons work rate at the moment, could be great in our forward line in years to come!
