Will he mention top 8?

We have Essendon*, Richmond, Geelong and Freo coming up and we probably need to win atleast 2 of them to stay in.

We might squeeze in on 10 wins, maybe 11. Swans have the draw from hell and North's isn't pleasant either.

Ironically 10 wins, then somehow win a final, some will say we improved...lol!!!!

Can make anything look good.

but it's ok everyone..... we are still in the 8 and nobody in the media expected us to be there, therefore we are on track!!!!

Those who thought we could challenge this mob were kidding themselves. they are streets and streets ahead of us

Pies are hot but surely we are better than 3 shots at goal in one half? Last 6 weeks we have been bottom 3 material. Pies showed today how much better their structure, game plan and discipline is. They are miles ahead, and I think the coach needs to take heat for this. He's been there long enough to have better structures than we currently have. No structures and the players lose confidence. It is as clear as day. Pies have heaps of kids today so youth is not an excuse IMO

Warnock was the only one who showed more than expected.
Waite tried hard as did Simmo.
Yarran only really got into the game when the intensity dropped away.

Missed the game due to my footy, thank god.

What's Judd's injury? Serious?

It would appear from afar that we have serious problems. We shouldn't play finals in our current form. We'll just embarrass ourselves if we happen to sneak it, which I don't believe we will.

The sad thing is I have absolutely no confidence in our admin to address this situation and make the tough decisions, whatever they may be.

We are floundering and there isn't even a remote sign we'll find our way out of it. This simply cannot continue...

(OK i'll admit I left at half time and went to the pub and half heartedly watched it on the tv there)

You know...as much as it pains me deeply to say this, the Filth are a @#$%&! good side. They are a bunch of deadshit individuals who probably can't tell the time or add up, and god knows how a downhill skier like Leon Davis can rack up 200 games, but they are a very good football side.

The main difference between this loss and our losses to the Dogs/Swans/Freo was the fact that we just could NOT get the ball inside 50. Their pressure was just far too stifling and we just couldn't break through it and made a ridiculous amount of stupid decisions and errors because of it.

I am however still dirty on the first 2 goals they got in the second quarter - the holding the ball decision was 50/50 at best and the umps should have just let that one slide, and THAT WAS NOT A GODDAMN @#$%&! MARK YOU STUPID BLIND MAGGOTS. Not making excuses but that gave them some momentum and we really needed a competitive second quarter to have any chance of staying in it.

apparently Juddy's shoulder injury is a result of carrying West Coast, and now Carlton, on his own for the last 9 years...

I wish Yarran had a shot when he ran through the centre!

Looking forward to the next few weeks without Judd.. will really separate the wheat from the chaff.
We are in a deep deep hole at the moment. We are crying out for leaders both on and off the field. Ratts for all his good intentions is not the man to take this football club forward. He understands the game but has had his ass handed to him in virtually every game of the past seven.
The players look listless- Jamison, Russell, Walker, Bower, Joseph, Carazzo, Murphy, Gibbs all stagnated or gone backwards. These are our next tier players who were meant to be taking the weight off Judd.

I think the re-signing of Betts was another terrible ploy by a Match Committee and football department prone to severe errors in judgement. Betts was one player we could have received value for later in the year- be it by way of picks or players. His year has been grossly inflated by goals kicked in dead time of matches, and this misinterpretaiton of his 'value' might have got us an overinflated deal by another club. He doesn't keep himself in the best physical condition between matches and in the off season, and the fact he sees himself as 'undroppable' is a key reason for his incredibly poor performances since about Round 8.

There are some serious questions to be asked of the whole football club in the coming weeks- and I hope against hope they are asked in the proper fashion, and not half- heartedly assessed like so many other important decisions this club has made in recent times.

What has changed the mood so much really ?

Did u expect to beat a team that is bigger, stronger, more skilled, better coached, more experienced, more talented, on a roll and sitting on top of the ladder ?

In every KPP duel they had a size and strength adv, and we just got monstered all over the park.

As bad as it gets and raises some real questions about what we're going to do come draft/trade time. Joseph, Walker, Jamieson, Bower are either not interested or not as good as we first thought.

I don't know what the answers are but I hope we miss the finals because I'd hate to see us avoid the full intensity of the spotlight.

Mate, I agree with you, but I swear, I think I've been reading the same things for the last 10 years! We just make shit decisions on too many things! I'm sick of all this crap!
