Both Armfiled and Yarran took part in todays training going by the facebook picks.

Sooo... team may be as is named.

Do any of the posters making the big statements like "Ellard will come in for Armfield/Yarran" actually know anything? If not, perhaps you might like to preface your posts with something like "I think" or "I'd like" so that they're not confused with posts from people who have inside knowledge.

There's enough reliable posters saying it to suggest Armfield will be assessed in the lead-up and they'll make a decision on the day.

The VFL match is on the following day.

When I see them run out on Youtube then I'll believe it.

Well, not meaning to sound impolite here, but I reckon Blind Freddy could see that.
Knowing he'll be "assessed on the day" though is very different to someone close to the player being able to state with confidence that he will/will not be in the starting line-up. This is the type of post I'm referring to. We can all puff our chests out and make the big "I know this" statements but a lot of the time it's just guesswork. I've got nothing against this sort of thing, it can be fun, but it would be nice to be able to distinguish between that sort posturing and someone who really does know something.

Not that there seems to be much point in Carlton obsfucating with a player like Armfield anyway. I mean if, for example, they knew mid-week that he was no chance, what would be the point of pretending otherwise?

Is this really the reason he does it?

Presti out is interesting to some degree...more so if we had a monster forward who could now run amok. Dick reconstruction announced today at Pieland also. Comments welcome!

Many of us thought and stated the same after Grigga's comeback game. Let the guy settle in and you may be surprised, BR. I thought he did a pretty respectable job on Priddis, FWIW.

Yeh I heard that too. If he's passed a fitness test and able to take his place that is an advantage for us, especially if he uses his run and carry off the half back line. I just hope the MC have made the right decision with him. It's important that every player has to be "on their Game" this week if we are going to cause an upset?
