I have us making 8th with just 9 wins, after we lose to Freo in round 22 by slightly less than the Swans losing to Brisbane.

I have us 10th on 10 wins. West Coast and Richmond being our only wins. I was going to give us the win against Essendon* ( which we should win ) but they always find a way to beat us and it probably will be less hard for them the way we're currently traveling. And yes I do know they're no great shakes either.

Massive loss for North tonight.
Can't see them making it now... I only have them down for 2 wins from here on in.

Looks like it will come down to % for 8th spot. If we beat Richmond and Essendon*, we finish with 11 wins. Sydney also likely to finish on 11 wins, and if Adelaide can win one of theit last 2 (Coll and St.k) could also finish on 11 wins. Need to avoid getting smashed by Geel, Coll and Freo.

On a brigher note, I just did the predictor, and had Collingwood and St Kilda finishing 2nd and 3rd, and Hawthorn and Sydney finishing 6th and 7th. If that were the case, St Kilda could well beat Collingwood in week one, and Hawthorn beat Collingwood in week 2. Then we can all rest easy. :thanks:

 irrelevant unless ratts gets sacked and another young coach replaces him. we need a young coach in his 1st or 2nd season to coincide with the war.

Could now easily be 5. Freemantle (home) against Carlton 8. at Subi........ first final. And again no final to watch for us....

If my calculations are correct we're now 7th on percentage (by around 0.9%) following Melbourne's 73pt win over the Swans.

Great, we cop Hawthorn. Put Joseph on Franklin, Ellard on Roughead and Thornton on Cyril. Chris Johnson to kick 7 in a forward defensive role on Hodge. No problem

If we win one game from here on in we will make the finals IMO.

Sydney have a tough draw IMO, even allowing for the fact they have 3 at home, and Brisbane..

Geelong (h)
Hawthorn (h)
Freo (a)
Dogs (h)
Brions (a)

The big question is do we pack enough clothes for 7 days or do we come home and fly back 4 days later

We will be heading to subi - two weeks running

I wondered that too. But I think now we will finish 7th, and Hawthorn will finish 6th.

And...when I did my latest predictor, I had Melbourne finishing 8th with 10 1/2 wins. They need to win 4 of their last 5, but have a good run home. Sydney and North both have horror runs, as does Adelaide, although I think Adelaide is the best of those 4 teams.

I have us finishing 7th on 11-11 by percentage from North in 8th.

Hawthorn finish 5th and Fremantle 6th so we'd play them 2 weeks in row over there, and I had us losing both times!

I have us finishing 7th also. Hawks in week 1.

Would rather this than Freo over there because:

1: I can go and watch it live.

2: Hawthorn may beat us senseless, which should show us what we need to do to take the next step. Then again I think we are better suited to a bigger ground and may just trouble them with our pace on the G.

Cant see us staying in Perth if we play there 2 weeks as we play there Friday night and the make up of the 8 may not be final until Sunday night.

It would be a little embarassing to hop on a plane Monday morning to head back to Melbourne for a Saturday final against Hawthorn.
