Probably true Grro, however on the TV coverage after half time it was fantastic even Tim Gossage commented it was the Carlton fans who got the crowd up (when Huddo suggested the Egirls fans were finding voice). Not many Vic teams get that on the other side of the country. Well Done and thanks for flying the flag. Made me feel like a right flog for leaving at 3/4 time against the Dogs a few weeks back.

Pro's:

Showed some ticker to bounce back from a horrible first half.

Noticed far more energetic and positive reinforcement by all players after any positive play by a team mate (where has this been?)

Grigg- showed some of his best form, though another step up is required next week. Good use of the ball too.

Bower- started to really create from half back and cut off a couple of forays from the Weagles too.

AJ- I have been critocal of late but he did some really positive things last night. Well done.

Simmo- great leadership.

Warnock. Needed to lift in the second half and did that. Especially in the 3rd qtr in the centre.

Cons:

Poor first half. Especially the 2nd qtr.

Missed many decent early shots.

Walker was generally ordinary. Slight improvement in the second half.

Army's injury. Get well soon mate, and get back in.
