On current form, if we played every team in the top 10 now I reckon we’d struggle to win a single game.

Missing the 8 may be the shake up we need.

Assuming we need 13 wins, then we need to beat:
- Sydney
-WC away
- Essendon*
- richmond
- freo

so the only losses we can afford are pies and Geelong.

Not looking good

Might only need 11 or 12 wins to scrape in. Still looking steep on current form.

i think we will make the 8 but only bc the teams after 5th are shit and we have a better percentage, adelaide have a hard run home and north are like us but we will be making up the numbers so who cares.

The Age puts us in 10th spot and says we will only beat Essendon* and Richmond.

They say that we will lose to WC, but for some reason North will beat them.
They also seem confident that Adelaide will beat the Dogs. Pretty lame calculator.

At the end of the day if we can't beat WC then it's all over, we shouldn't be playing finals

WCE is a scary challenge for us this week.....i dont think we were convincing against them a couple of months ago.

based on current form - 10th would be appropriate.

would be considered a failed season.

Our last two games against WC haven't been very convincing yet we've still beaten them by a reasonable amount. But yes, if we lose then we don't deserve to play finals.

If it turns out that we head to Perth for Round 22 with the possibility of having to play them again in Perth week 1 of the finals, would we consider preparing to stay there for the week on a "Finals training camp" rather than another 2 trips to melb and back? Plus, gain the additional team focus (like socceroos/swim team etc... training camps before big comps) and reduce the media focus too??

Don't even look that far because in six weeks we will need to win four games and its looking shakey at best.

Reckon the Hawks may still be within a chance at top four...

If we finish top 10 I win $200.

I still have us 8th.

Beating
WCE
Tigers
Bombers

Have said since the half way mark that we'll play Freo two weeks running and I still won't get to see another Carlton final live.

We won't make it.

Pains me to say. ..... i think its best for the club that we don't.

Making finals will just paper over the cracks for another season.
