the support for the blues in WA is massive - we will pack out the area behind the goals at one end

if we are winning and look likely to win you will hear the crowd singing the song sometime during the last qtr

I'm heading over (never been to Perth in my nearly 30 years on earth) and have a ticket in Bay 139 - will that be up the Blues end?

The last time we came out and actually attacked an opponent instead of being negative was the Melbourne game, and as a result we virtually had that game wrapped up by quarter time.
So then why the hell has Ratten inisted on starting every game since with negative, reactive tactics ?

Win the contested ball in the first quarter will be a good start at turning things around. Give plans a chance to work. From there make sure we nail the goals when we get a chance to apply some scoreboard pressure.

The Eagles crowd won't make a noise unless

a) Carlton get away to a flyer and the Eagles make a dramatic comeback at some point in the game.
b) The Eagles are in front by 10 goals.

Without doubt the most passionless bunch of footy supporters in the country.

...... What about the rest? Murphy, Carrazzo? What's the point of dropping one.

I don't know about that.......dropping your most talented players at this stage of the Final's race......even if they are out of form.......is fraught with danger.....and I can't really see the logic.

Why doesn't ratten just play both gibbs & murph where they should be played in the middle instead of back & forward.

+1

If this is true then the MC has lost the plot and IMO are dropping the wrong blokes.

CARRAZZO needs to be dropped if he wants to make a statement not Gibbs who when we get in trouble is moved back as ratts's signiture stop the flow move.

Pathetic if true.

Yep.....agree with that......you don't drop class and retain battlers.....it doesn't make sense.

since when has anything that weve done this decade make any sense at all.

surely it isnt gibbs' fault that over the past month he has played defensive type roles. didnt he do enough of that shit under pagan?

seeing as tho hes such a nice kick, good mark & smart footballer & our forward line has been so abysmal , why didnt ratten try him forward at any stage during that period?

absolute rubbish decision if true.

Dunno, I haven't been impressed by Gibbs in a while, but if he's carrying an injury why keep bloody playing him? Especially on the Etihad sand.

afl.com.au preview says West Coast by 12 points

Gibbs has been carrying a ankle injury for a number of weeks now and it it wouldnt surprise me that Ratten doesnt want to expose Gibbs on the wide open spaces of Subi
