Many opposition supporters would like to see Ratten stay on as Blues coach cause they know as long as this man is coaching we gonna do sweet flower all.

beautiful example of paranoia

I thought Ratts struggled last night, but I don't think we can judge a coach on the way he performs in the media (in saying that, being a capable media performer is becoming more and more important and our club has severely underestimated this for a long period of time.)

I reckon it will be a most interesting next 6 weeks- culture defining in many respects for both players and coach.

Agree Josh, you'd have to say that the last 6 weeks of this season are as important as the last 6 weeks of Ratten's first season.

Except this time we want to win games.

Not lose them.

Ratts delivered the first time, hope he can deliver this time.

3 games at the MCG, 2 at Subi & 1 at the dome.

Our biggest rivals Collingwood, Essendon* and Richmond all at the G. Massive pressure. Massive expectations. We MUST lift!

GO BLUES!!!!

I wonder if he did really deliver the first time...on purpose that is....

I cannot see us making the eight recent form would suggest at best we are going to win three out the 6 at best
North have a better run home we need either the bombers to knock them off or Freo

Yes but if we win three out of six then North have to win four out of six because their poor percentage means they are effectively a game behind us.

They still have to play the Bulldogs and St Kilda, which you'd think they'll lose. So they probably have to beat all of Essendon*, Freo, West Coast (away) and Melbourne to make it. It's possible but I think it's unlikely.

i'd be more worried about Adelaide TBH. just did the ladder predictor (again) and ended up with us 10th and believe it or not both Adelaide and North in.... Sydney slide out as well :?

This week is a crucial game for us. If we win then I think we'll probably just make it as surely we can beat Essendon* and Richmond (though, knowing us we'll lose both but beat Collingwood and Geelong!). Lose this week and we're in real strife.

Adelaide have an interesting run. They have the Bulldogs and St Kilda but both at home, a Showdown and tricky away games against Richmond and Brisbane. You'd think Collingwood would beat them in Melbourne. They probably need to win at least four out of games against Port Adelaide, Richmond, Bulldogs, Brisbane and St Kilda. Again, I think they're pushing it.

OMG. Don't say such things. This is exactly what I have NOT wanted to hear in 2010.

Admitedly though, I haven't needed a predictor to see we are digging ourselves into a big hole getting deeper by the week, but when you spell it like you do, it's scary...for everything Dark Navy Blue.

Round 22 is going to have everyone on edge. Fermantle at Subiaco.
This Saturday at Subiaco against WCE may give us an edge for that one, or it will be the end of our season.

Gerad Healing said it in a straight up manner to Ratten that it's looking like Carlton wont make it.
Ratten wouldn't have anything of it. Plenty of spin from Ratts imo.
I trust Healy's views than almost anyones. Good thing is that he said our destiny IS in our own hands; we're in the 8.
No finals will be a huge failure for the club despite what everyone predicted for 2010.

Head and shoulders above Mark Harvey's performance a couple of years ago. Now Harvey is sitting on top of the world.
