It started from last year after making the 8 with a very advantageous draw. Premiership window opening my a$$.

We know Carlton sometimes doesn't turn up to play....well the Cats held a team crisis meeting after their loss to us this year bcoz they felt they didn't come to play that night. We did catch them on a downer and with key players out.

The Saints were very down and disorganised for 2-3 weeks after Reiwoldt went down. They were ripe for the picking.

After the past month's performances why did supporters expect something great today?
We are playing like a bottom 6 side ATM.

Confidence is shot and they need to get away from etihad

A forward line that resembles Pagan's paddock without Carey (obviously that's who we'll recruit next year).

This type of slight is alien in the more cultured part of the world - Walsh. Its up there with mad dogs, Englishmen and the midday sun!

Pro :

Yarran taking them on and running through the lines. WE need to get the ball to him more often. (and yes, he needs to get fitter to get to more contests)
Gartlett giving a contest at every opportunity
Hampson growing in confidence. His second half was the biggest plus we have had for 6 weeks. Now needs to continue to show that aggression at the ball and he could become an offensive weapon of sorts.
Judd tried his guts out. 18 contested possessions or so - problem was there was no one to give it to in space and he effectively turned it over by hand repeatedly

Cons :

too many passengers making poor decisions.
We get first possession more than most, but we let ourselves down with the next one or two in transition and give it back way too quickly - lack of confidence is a bitch.
