The process to get Ratts was rubbish and so was the contract extension - neither Ratts fault. What has happened in the new millenium? Britts - sacked with year on contract; Pagan sacked with year on contract; Ratts under extreme pressure with year to go. Maybe we should be looking at who and how our appointments are being made.

I wouldn't sack Ratts. I didn't think he should have got the job - way to inexeperinced and too much of a jobs for the boys thing. But others bear the responsibility of appointing him and need to be made to account. Let Ratts coach next year and have a proper process to replace him (one not involving S Kernahan).

I love Ratts - genuine top bloke but not a senior coach.

If Ratten was coaching Carlton in 1995 we would've won the premiership by 38 - 48 points (given he wouldn't have been on the ground).

Luckily he was on the gound and we won by much more

I blame Sydney for outscoring us. They are cauliflower!

I agree his methods are very Parkin'ish 1995!

Unfortunately he is 15 years behind the times.

it will be an interesting board meeting tomorrow night !

The evidence is presented....only one logical conclusion exists....

But the question remains....Is the Board that appointed Rats willing to admit the mistake that many of them made 3 years ago ?????

I can only hope that they put their egos aside and do what is without any doubt the best for the Carlton Football Club.

Place our list up against the Swans and one for one....you could not possible argue that they have more talent....but they have a system and structure that allows them to maximise their strengths and eek every possible win from that group.

In contrast, our systems make talented players look like turnover merchants and make smart footballers look like headless chooks ! The amount of time we were storming towards 50 in the first half and the players held on to it for too long because they simply had no option !!!!

Exactly!

November decision after the review.

Oh so we're having a review are we???

What happened to the review at the end of 2009 where all the same patterns were evident and NOTHING was done. Matthew Lappin and Brett Ratten rubber stamped to continue.

You could see this last year if you bothered to look, but the leaders of the club stuck their heads in the sand.

Weak! Incompetent!

Might get the choice of Ess or Carl so it'll be a no brainer.

A workmate who is a mad carlton supporter was going on about Damien Hardwick. At the end of last season when Hardwick threw his hat in the ring to coach Richmond, my fellow workmate was going off his nuts about him and that Carlton should ditch Ratten right there and then and GET Harwick.

At the time I told him he had rocks in his head, but now,,,,,, I dont know,,,,,,,,, gotta wonder what if !!!!!!!!

We're certainly playing very amateurish football......reckon the Bullants would beat us!.....I've never seen a Carlton side provide so many turnovers....and passes to the opposition.

Hardwick is a short lived love story. You'll see.

If Brett Ratten is sacked, then Kernahan and his mates must be held accountable for the plight we are in right now and must step away from the club and let knowledgable people make the right decisions.

Kernahan can play his role schmoozing with supporters and sponsors but she never ever be given an opportunity to have a say in important decisions made for the club.

But hate to say it again, (and was kicked off for this) but Ratten is a spud, the players have know all along he is a spud and now you're witnessing a team play like a bunch of spuds because they believe they are no better.

If only someone from the club would have listened to Stephen Icke in the first place.
