Was at training this morning and believe there will be no change to the selected lineup tomorrow. Henda looked to be moving freely as too were Judd, Gibbs and Betts.

Would have loved to see Ellard come in for Robinson. He's been a model of consistency in the Ants and worked hard to earn a crack. If Ratts is fair dinkum re his comment on dropping blokes who have 7 bad quarters in a row or something, then Carrots, Robbo etc maybe about to give him his chance ?

Robbo was one of the few who gave us 100% last week. He's second picked for me this week after Judd.
100% of Robbo is better than 50% of anybody else on the senior list IMO.
100% of ANYBODY gets them a game ATM.
Judd, Robbo, Armfleld get an automatic game this week after their efforts last week. They made mistakes, all of them but one of them wasn't the mistake of not having a crack.

Disappointed if Ellard misses but happy for Grigg to get another crack as IMO he was stiff to be given the flick after 1 game.

Waitey owes us...!!!!

Careers on the line, reputations on the line, finals hopes on the line and not just talking about tomorrows game.

We'll flog Sydney, but it just proves a point around our mental fragility.

I can't believe this comment, Thornton has held the backline together since he was a skinny 19 year old, playing against the best full forwards of the day. The guy bleeds navy blue, despite what you lot think. Never been reported, injured during games and wears his heart on his sleeve. The above quote is disgraceful.

I hop some of the players were watching the scum vs West Coast tonight and bring the long studs for tomorrows game. The surface at Etihad is a disgrace.

I hope we don't deliver a performance like Ess did tonight. It would literally break me.

Huge game. Season defining. As has been said above, careers are on the line for mine. Not just players either.

IMHO we'll know after the first 5 mins if Ratts 'has' the boys or if he doesn't.

Are we a legitimate finals side or a 'try hard contender'? We'll know tomorrow.

Did West Cost suddenly play themselves into good form or Were Essendon* that bad??? it makes next week's game a difficult task

Our Finals hopes are on the line. If the players don't wake up from their sleep tomorrow, all will be lost

Fickle and uninfored Carlton followers make such comments !!

I agree with you BlueRo.

T-Bird has held our defence together for the best part of a decade. I can guarantee he has played with injuries that Jamo & Bower would not even consider playing with. Not sure which games this match committee have been watching but he has been quite good over the last month. Jamo has been atrocious and yet he continues to get a game. I suppose when you are placed in the leadershio group getting dropped would be a reflection on those who appointed you in the first place.

T-bird can play on talls or smalls and can also go forward if required. His disposal is as good as any player in the side. Jamo can only play on the last line and his disposal and decision making is questionable at best.

Anyway lets wait and see how it plays out against the Swans.

T-Bird was dominant in the Ants game against Werribee last night.

Now I'm a bit of a T/Bird fan but that comment is just plain wrong. Bret has improved his disposal but he still hangs the ball in the air too much or puts it on the toes of his team mate.
Let's not get carried away.

As for Jamo, yes he is struggling with his decision making at the moment but he offers far more flexibility than T/Bird. Prior to last week, how many times have you seen a forward get hold of Jamison?
He plays on small and talls and while he may not offer an offensive mindset, a defenders primary job is to defend. He does that better than anyone in our side.

As much as I would normally enjoy this comment, I'm not sure we are in a position to throw stones at anyone right now.
