0.15 in his career to date.

If he plays I will bet my left nut that he kicks his first goal, and follows it up with multiples. It's the Carlton way.

Even Mark Williams might get a recall against us.

Simon White...round 16

Why have our wheels fallen off?......too much press about Setanta and his little helpers?.....our wins against the Cats and the Saints inflating our opinion of ourselves?

I look back to that Hawthorn loss when the Hawks magically re found their ruthless 2008 form; and smashed us.

I heard a Hawk supporter say after that match that "Carlton are soft".............and we are playing that way.

Even the Dutch football team would intimidate us right now.

 Was thinking the same. Jetta will kick his first out of his arse. I think he towelled us up in the NAB cup game at Blacktown

I'm more worried about his assist work.

Oh for a Wes Lofts or an Earl Spalding.

Interesting call on Davies. I highly doubt both Davies and Austin would come in considering they both are backmen and would be asked to create run etc. By all reports Davies played really well in the Ants so I would love to see him in the team but Austin at this stage is probably not in the mix.

I hope we get to see Yarran and Armfield spend more time in the middle.

Also Casboult is a looooong way from making the team

Out - Thornton, Jamison, O'hAilpin, Jacobs, Carrazzo

In - Waite, Lucas, Fisher, Warnock, Ellard

We'll have Bower Walker Hendo Waite Fisher as KPP's to play/rotate forward and back depending on matchups.

We have to play Warnock who's reportedly playing well in the ants. Jacobs is just ok IMO.

Lucas in to provide skill, run and footy smarts.

Ellard deservedly in to replace Carrotts in the midfield.

I'd like to see Ellard get a game.......he's done a long apprenticeship.....and would give some grunt to the midfield.

Malceski is shocking in the air. We need to isolate him on an opponent who can mark the ball - maybe Houlihan? Malceski's game against Richmond was appalling.

Mark Austin is the worst player on any list in the AFL and will not be getting a game this week and will be the first person to be delisted at the end of the season.

Maybe the wheels were never on in the first place...

Interesting view but.......

Id have thought Fisher, Hadley, Browne, Ellard (if we refuse to play him), anderson would be ahead at this stage (is there a thread for this stuff???)

Yet another intelligent Carlton supporter.

It's becoming a struggle to use the last three words in a sentence.

I think I heard Hotcox giving Henderson the Bronx cheers against the Hawks.

What a disgrace.

Mark Austin has struggled since his debut against Melbourne in 2007 when in that Kurezer cup game farce he was very ordinary. Austin is slow, cannot read the play, constantly gets beaten on leads and lacks penertration in his kicking. 2010 was a big year for Mark Austin but unfortunatley injury has runied his season and now after being on the list for 5 years it is time to go Mark Austin

Great to have you here, Hotcox!

More onto the topic, I'm growing concerned about this week's game. Adam Goodes will be thrown back into the midfield, as he plays his best footy there and is recapturing some of his fine form. Perhaps it is a challenge that Gibbs needs. Play Gibbs on Adam Goodes, as I can recall Bryce doing quite well on him over the last couple of encounters. Could be the thing that sparks young Gibbs back into form.

Difficult to see us getting up this week...we are just too disorganized at the moment....we will be better than last week though but unless Ratts can come up with something out of the box tactically then it should be the Swans by 3 to 4 goals...by the way ins and outs will matter little if we don't come out with some type of structure especially when going forward..

Gibbs on Goodes has worked in the past but with Gibbs struggling with a few niggles i am not sure he will have the fitness for the job this time. Someone has to watch him though. Preferably someone with a little bit of height.

SHould be a good game this week. I am looking forward to it. The Blues will be keen to get back to form and the Swans hit a bit of form last week after a month or so of so so form.

We are going to have to match them for intensity and tackle pressure and also show some class on top of that. I doubt Henda will play and Carlos should be left out so the forward line will have a different mix. Hopefully a mix that troubles the Swans defenders.

Last week we couldnt move the ball forward with any authority to get it to a point where we could kick over the spare man and to the advantage of any forward. Let hope we can get some form and confidence up early and overcome the Swans attempts to slow up our ball movement.

Its all or nothing this week. In the past we have played good with that midset.
