Dennis Armfield had a crack at times yesterday, but his squibbing of the contest where he heard footsteps set the tone for the day. Imagine how much the team would have been lifted had he gone back like he should've and taken the mark.

It's a shame Armfield lacks the football smarts to make the right decisions - I love his dash off half back but while everyone was screaming with excitement when he had the ball along the wing running towards goal, I sat there knowing the wrong decision would be made. He kicked it long to Brian Lake. While he wasn't alone there yesterday, he was under no pressure. You'll excuse a player if they cough the ball up under enormous pressure, but in this case he was under very little pressure.

coach and mc got it wrong from the start really grigg should have had a job on griffin imo.

I agree.
Grigg was stiff to be dropped after his first game back.
His kicking ain't great however he is a better footballer than a few others in our 22 on the weekend.

Grigg keep up with Griffin ?...I doubt it.

Lucas should be in for AJ, can take his role but provide a bit extra class coming out of the back half.

Twice I saw AW moving in on the ball opposite a Bulldog player.....AW stopped as 'tho he was shot...waited for that opponent to pick up the ball as 'tho he would then tackle him.....but by then; the ball had been handballed away.....perhaps he's still sore?

I really thought the rot started when AW gave away a totally undisiplined free to gift them their first in reply to Sauce getting the game's 1st.

What a stupid way to deflate the team after a dream opening.
