He needs to be put in the middle of the ground and told to win us the F@#$en game.

I'm sick of one of our star players matching up on some clown that plenty of other players could be doing.

Lets go out and win the game ourselves and stop trying to prevent the other team from winning it!

It is beyond time that wholesale changes were made to this side and anyone who doesn't think Fish is worth a go considering what we have up forward at the moment is on something.

out- Hendo, Setanta, Gibbs ( needs to know even #1's can be dropped if not performing ) and Thornton
In- Fish, Waite (both forward), Lucas Ellard

Hammer needs more time he showed a little on Sunday Great mark a bit more of that when he goes forward could cause some prob's

Worst case scenario is we lose but what difference will that really make we will only make up numbers in sept anyway need to put some guys on notice

Forget about Goodes game yesterday, these are the two we need to stop.

i hope we persist with hampson and give him first bounce.
davies should get a run and phase out thornton
jamison is farcical and there is no way ozzie will play worse.
gibbs has been nothing short of terrible and i'll play ellard in a flash in his place
aj has been equally terrible and i'll give tuohy a taste even for one week
setanta and hendo have to go... setanta to be phased out - bring in waite and fisher.
carrazzo is subaverage afl footballer... either leave him in the back pocket or in the magoos. lucas is a superior player.

Carlos out for Waite
Sauce out for Warnock (Sauce hasnt been terrible but i want another look at Warnock and Hampson needs games. I am excited about where his game is heading)
Thornton our for Lucas(thornton has not been terrible but we have been rubbish ever since he came back into the team.Time to phase him out. We dont really need a third tall defender.)
Houla out for Grigg ( we need a good look at grigg. houla hasnt been the worst but he hasnt been great either.Time to look for a replacement)

White and Lucas were the two players who when we were playing well, really stood out for me.

Love White's hardness, eagerness to take on the opposition, and best of all: his first instinct is to go forward ... not backwards, not sideways ... forwards. Refreshing.

Lucas: #2 in interceptions in the AFL after a handful of games, composed, quick decision maker, skilled ... why waste him in the Bullies.

White may not be ready but Lucas has to play.

Gibbs will probably go to Goodes. Wouldn't mind Russell having a crack at him.

It's the only reason Gibbs should get a game, problem is this poser, (yes poser) knows it because he probably figures he'll get Goodes if its a run with role.

If I was Roos I'd play Goodes out of the forward line and then Gibbs will go somewhere else or get his pants pulled down by Goodes.

Ratts , show us you've got a pair, and drop Gibbs. Don't take the soft option again by dropping second stringers or crucifying guys by giving them one whole game to get in the swing.

gibbs! poser??
i have a feeling i know who the 'poser' is! my suggestion would be to play the kid in the position where he's played for 15 years and can tear the game apart. THE GUTS!

let roos and his staff worry about gibbs going banana's and tearing the swans a new one!

GIBBS TO MIDFIELD!
that is all.

Gibbs won't be going anywhere. He's an example of playing the kids. Gibbs, Murphy, Russell, Simpson, Betts, Yarran, Garlett, Jospeh, Kreuzer, Bower, Jamison have all been played week in week out when fit from very early ages.

Gibbs has to play in the middle. Others have said it an d I agree. Let THEM tag him or let him run around at their peril. Having said that, his disposal yesterday was pathetic.
Scotland hit more dogs than blues.
Carazzo MUST have had a negative supercoach score.
Judd got plenty of it but even he missed easy ones.
I like Armfield running free. OK he doesn't always hit what he aims at but at least he is a 50 metre player.

I wondered how Ratts managed to get the ground staff at Ethiad to paint the goal to goal zone brown so the Carlton payers knew where they weren't allowed to go. They don't use the corridor so they don't know how to defend it either. We have to change this aspect of our game, running the ball from the corridor to the pockets.

Sydney isn't a running team so we will do better against them. We go OK in stoppages so the game will be better suited to us than the running through the centre game the dogs used.

Wholeseale changes never get results. Waite will come in for Henderson. Lucas for someone. I hope it isn't Robbo because he was one of about three who had a red hot crack. I'd love Wiggo to get a send-off game. He would have given us 100% last night. 100% of Wiggo is a lot better than 50% of the alternatives.

We'll win against Sydney but the sad reality is we need a more simplke gameplan that involves run and carry, use of the corridor and we also need to make radical changes if things go wrong. If nobody up front can take a mark, put Walks or Houlihan or Gibbs or SOMEBODY there who might be able to. Hendo to the backline, Setanta to the bench and Eddie at FF is NOT the answer.

Blues by a few points but looking over their shoulder at Adelaide to get into the 8 and Hawthorn to win the flag if they can keep everybody on the park.

Gibbs to full forward ... hmmmm.
Not something I would've thought of myself but it's not a bad idea.
Wonder if he's got any experience in the forward-line?

I am not a betting man and don't really understand odds and gambling. This is a classic case in point as to why. Makes absolute no sense at all to me

In our current form, we'll be lucky to eek out another win for the year. Seriously. Maybe that's what playing $1.60??

Most people STILL think the 8 is set. I'm far from convinced and reckon we are a huge chance of missing if we don't get our shit sorted. Without overreacting of course

for mine..

OUT: Setanta, Hampson
IN: Waite, Warnock

I think Hampson is terrible. Great athlete but nothing more. He probably has one more year to prove he can improve. Stetanta was deplorable.

Let most of the same players make up for what they did on Sunday. Are we sure Henderson is ok to play?

I'd take Setanta and Fisher, Carrots and and Ellard, Houlihan and Grigg, Thronton and White....put them in a ring and let them fight to decide who wants to play. We'll soon see how who and how badly each wants to play :fight:

Can we draft Iacobucci from the Bullants for a few weeks? Seems to show more heart week in week out than the entire Carlton playing list at the moment.
