Sounds like David King is applying for a job at CFC.

He'd be lucky to get a job at KFC.

what do you mean so?

i think is great that finally he is coming under scrutiny by people by the media and deservedly so don't you think.

good on em for airing and questioning pretty much what the majority of us are thinking. Its about time he come under scrutiny in the media and people are finally seen through his mr nice to everyone act to earn him some browny points.

agree with that.

the point here is its about time people like Kingy, BT and Gerard start questioning his performances to date and are putting the heat on him cause he is most deserved of it.

someone has to say something cause no one is.

Nobody in their right mind would proclaim last night as a fantastic moment for the Blues. If you didn't agree with someone criticising our performance, even if it is merely in hindsight, then you'd be worried about the judgement of blokes like Healy and Taylor.

Well Brian Lake said last night on 3AW that he had done his research and basically knew which Carlton players kick with which foot and where they usually kick the ball going inside 50, he knew how many steps they'd take before kicking it

Well, one issue could be that our players do not prepare as well as others..... There seems to be a lazy streak about the team (and the coaches?)

well i know after most games each Tigers player has mac laptop and once they get home they have to revue and write a report on the game and send it into the club. I'm pretty sure the Saints do the same

I think we all know that Ratten is closer to going than anything else, be that now or years end unless major improvement.

But in fairness to a club legend get him a mentor, someone with experience who could sit in the box and help develop him.

I thought Laidley may have been a go last year.

We dont want it to end ugly for a champion of our club, at least give him that additional support.

PS - the players need a foot up the arse as well

Robert Walls mentioned these callers on OWAAT briefly, he didn't elaborate though. Just said he was really disappointed in Waite. More discussion over Voss and Knights coach-wise.

DAVID KING:[/b] I thought he could have put more traffic around lake using 3 or 4 other forwards around the space and not make it a one on one which is Lake strength. He wasn't worrying about defending, he was going in and marking the ball. They needed more traffic in the area to confuse Lake and absolutely nothing got done.

That tactic itself is not conducive to playing the game at a frenetic pace. From my point of view that tactic leads to congested slow play which is what the Bulldogs were trying to do. Lake dominated against Hawthorn and Franklin yet they still lost.
We put little pressure on them all over the ground and they are probably the best users of the ball in the AFL when the game is played on those terms.
