Hall smashing us at one end, Lake at the other and they don't have to do much in between to beat us there.

Be lucky to win 10 games this season at this rate. Horrible.

Can't even whinge at the umps they haven't been too bad.

Geez you guys carry on.

We're not that far out of it. We look good from half back and through the middle of the ground, we just make dumb decisions with that kick into 50 and then don't work hard enough when we turn it over.

We're playing a very selfish brand of football at the moment, players aren't prepared to run and make space and then work hard back the other way and that goes from the captain down.

All we need to do to turn it around is fix our forward entries, keep the ball away from Lake and then make sure we run back the other way.

Whoever is playing on Griffen needs to be told to stay on him and run with him, he's destroying us. I saw Armfield with him, thats a poor match up, we do need him to run off his opponant. Maybe Walker is the answer.

I reckon its much more than skills. Skills looked very good against StK and Geel, but what we had in those games was 22 players desperate to lay tackles and put pressure on every opposition player. If you can wear a team down, the game opens up and there is more time to hit targets etc.

At this stage of our development, as soon as we drop off, even by 5%, quality teams will slaughter us. Having said that, there is at least 5 blokes who must go......

30 inside F50 to 27...... but yet 5+ goals down

Its like Ratten found Pagan's bomb it into F50 manual in a locker during the week.

Setanta is really lacking any passion at the moment - just seem lost and Lake is killing us, we can't afford to have anyone sulking around the forward line - we got rid of our last sook.

Get Hampson down there - he can at least jump and introduce a height disadvantage in our favour for once to keep them honest.

As for the rest, well fs, get your fingers out and move when we have the ball

Oh, and how was that not a fr4ee kick to Simpson??? Arms were chopped and then he wa taken high when dragged to the ground.

We need to stop giving away frees in ruck contests too.

Thats Chook Lotto at its best.

And FFS, fix that surface....that strip they've replaced is a disgrace

Had a week and half to prepare for this game. Shouldn't be a need to address MULTIPLE issues.

Symptomatic of pathetic leadership. Who were the finger pointers?

Would have to be the dumbest club going around at the minute.
this
this x 100

just cannot seem to understand why we fold whenever there is real value in taking the 4 points.

Never seem to show up when it really matters.

It's pretty simple - one way running is our problem.

Come out and hit them hard early and get the run on - they will tire as the game goes on.

That's assuming that our players will start running defensively of course!

I may be delusional but I don't think it's over just yet....

It doesn't matter what game plan you have in place if the player dont have the skill to kick it to another bloke in navy blue.

END OF STORY

Does that even make sense to you? How can a game plan be better for having a couple of extra days to work on it? You either get it right or you don't.

No game plan is perfect and I'm sure the Bulldogs are working on theirs at half-time as well.

Spot on. We're playing well enough to get back into this.

Too many people here are influenced only by the score and can't see whats happening.

We're falling down in 2 areas, entries into 50 and running both ways. Everyowhere else we're more than competitive.

My point was that with the amount of time we've had to prepare for the game, there shouldn't be a myriad of issues to address at half time.

13 free kicks each.

The dogs are playing beautifully over the surface.

No excuses for this performance so far. Just not good enough.

We're supposed to be the fittest we've been for years, courtesy of Cordy and co. So if we're not running defensively then its simply an attitude problem that's got to be fixed. BTW, more marks, more kicks, more tackles, more inside 50s, more hit outs and same frees count...............and 6 goals down. Nice work :screwy:
