OK so it's an obvious question, but bear with me.

I haven't been to a Carlton match in Melbourne this century (!), and I've never been to Etihad Stadium. Nonetheless I am a Silver Long Distance 5 member so theoretically I should be able to get free entry to the game right?

What I am not sure of is there a chance I'll be locked out if I rock up to Etihad Stadium just before the match? Should I buy a ticket beforehand anyway as I don't want to waste this rare opportunity?

Please lend me the benefit of your collective experience, as my Melbourne experience is limited to rocking up to Princess Park in time to catch the reserves, which meant I never had to suffer a lockout form the outside....

Doubt it will sell out, but bring tissues for the nose bleed

Won't be a sellout, but be prepared to pay through the nose for a decent seat.

Thanks, but what would be a decent seat?

Are you on your own (ie one ticket) or do you need a couple? Single seats are often easy to get

Yeah, level two is easily the best, but level one is still decent nonetheless.

There's not a lot of bad seats at Etihad. It has it's faults but it's a great viewing venue.

Don't sit anywhere near the gates. The draft will cut you in half.

Ypu may be left with only third level seats..they are pretty high up,so it's a question of preference.
Sure you can get in..but do you like to be a t ground level,or premium..(wing 2nd level)..or is it fine to be up in the Gods.
These are the questions..and if you know which, then you'll know what time to go..or whether to book online.
Wherever you sit,
i hope you see a smashing victory from us.

Silver members can sit in bays 37-39 on the wing on level 3. This is reserved for silver members only. Seats are good.
