Should be great for Freo supporters to hear how good their young blokes are

Be interesting to hear what he has to say. We're in a bit of a rough period in our season. Have been looking forward to seeing him all season on one of these shows.

Should also be a fascinating lesson on the use and abuse of statistics

I agree. He doesnt like to give too much away so his strategy with the media is to just talk about the numbers.

Id probably do the same if i was coach.

Walls will be keen to press his views re Thornton.

Yep. He absolutely lost it at him after he conceded a fifty. While it was disappointing, he was right to be frustrated given how many holding calls the umps had conveniently forgotten when it came to Freo. Every time we were first to the ball, they were allowed to scrag us; forward, back or midfield.

Can't blame umpires.. we mucked it up in the first qtr by missing gettable goals. If we got 2-3 of the seven we would have in my opinion won the game as the pressure would have been on Freo rather than vice-versa.

It was another opportunity missed.

Just some bad language.

They had a bit to say about your family too.

Do they replay One Week At A Time at another time during the week?
Or, can I download it from website?

Not a lot really, though he did call Thornton out for "poor body language" which isn't much given Walls bagging him out for being a whinger amongst other things earlier in the show. (and Hadley but for being a spud and not a whinger) Tim Lane was also one so it was a bit of a Carlton-fest, my housemate hated it

Um...apparently Murph hurt his hamstring on Wednesday night, Krooz's mum was very upset over his injury (oh der), our goal is to make the finals, he wants clarification on what is and isn't OK when tagging and "maybe then we can instigate some of those tactics" Just friggin use them now, everyone else does FFS.

I wish they'd replayed Walls going off his brain at Thornton on Saturday night though. I missed it.

Oh and McLean is probably going to have a "clean up" op on his knee over the break but it won't be season ending.

What did the "opening rant" from Walls that they referred to later in the show entail?

Walls said that we don't help Judd out enough which isn't good enough, he thinks Hadley should go far far away, McLean needs to improve skills and output because he hasn't done much this year, Warnock needs to be played given all we gave up for him, Thornton needs to stop whinging and blaming everyone but himself as he's a 150 game player and needs to man the flower up and quit bitchin.

Walls tells it like it is.

How did Ratten respond to most of this?

BTW, repeated tomorrow on One HD at 8am. Ideal for the at home mums.

He "agreed and disagreed" with it. Fighting words Brett. Fighting words.

Did agree on Thornton but wasn't quite as harsh as Walls. Commented that Hadley and McLean couldn't play on the same team. Wasn't sure who out of Warnock or Hampson would come in.
