Unbelievable. :banghead:
I think it's time we do a Collingwood and start using the media as our vehicle for getting our dissatisfaction across eg. Maxwell.
This is bollox ... seriously :garthp:

What did Carrazzo do to the ump? Didn't see that.

Not sure if this was the incident or if it was Carrazzo but I saw a Carlton player make contact with an umpire. Basically the ball was kicked out of Freo's defence with a Freo and Carlton player both chasing the ball. About 5 metres of the ball the umpire got in the way of the Carlton player, providing a good block for the Freo player. If this is the incident they're talking about it was the umpires fault IMO he ran to the wrong spot.

However on a positive note as it's not a suspension he is still eligible for the NRS.

I might have this wrong, but from memory there was an incident at a centre bounce where Carrots and his man were behind the ump, just a bit to one side. After the ump bounced the ball he started running back, the Freo player then forced Carrots in the ump's direction. The force wasn't really that great into Carrots and it was likely he might have made contact anyway. The contact with the ump was not heavy, so no dramas there. But I guess by now all players should know you have to give the umpire room to back away after a bounce.

Given past decisions a fine is probably fair enough.

I'm just rapted the NRS is still on the cards.

Give the Fishy, Fishy, Fishy a go, I say.

He can't have gotten to much worse.

I think it is time for some tough Steve Johnson love for him. What is the point of playing every 3/4 week. Impose a club suspension on him for 4 weeks in the 2's. Not having him available upsets the team balance which is already frustratingly fragile

Perhaps Juddy was lucky, as Pavlich had quite a few stitches under his eye.......you know how they are with head injuries.....

suspensions given and not given with alarming inconsistency

the competition has a draw that is bordering on ridiulous in its uneveness

A bit unlucky as Waite could have sent him into next week if he wanted to...

Doesn't really bother me...just confirms my opinion that Waite is not a very intelligent footballer.
When he returns, it should be to the Backline. No point having your main forward leading to the boundary all night.
He's better off being taken to the ball where he can use his athleticism to win a contest.
Just my opinion.

I agree. Get him out of the forward line.

2 weeks for that - nonsense!

Anyway I'm glad Judd got off and am not sure Waite is such a big loss anyway.

Fletcher getting rubbed out for 3 would almost end any chance of Essendon* playing finals - especially with Pears out injured for 8 weeks.

This is absolute rubbish. The other guy was running at Waite. He just braced himself for the impact and the other guy came off second best. It's not like Waite targeted him, or lifted his elbow. The fact that he was hit in the head was just as much an accident as what Judd got off for.

Spot on. The only alternative is to not brace yourself, leave your body wide open and have your ribs broken.

For Jarad Waite? Couldn't be, sadly, he is a nothing and is wasting what talent he sometimes shows for nothing. Mudagutska indeed
