I’ve been one of Thornton’s biggest critics, but I actually thought he was OK on Saturday night, given what he was asked to do – play back, forward and in the ruck.

I’d like to think Waite is a big loss, but he’s been just awful this year.

Waite needs to pull his head in. Another suspension is not acceptable.

Out: Waite, Kreuzer, Hadley
In: Carlos, Hampson, Murphy

We need to stop playing as individuals & start to play as a team, help each other out, run harder when you haven't got the ball & stop chasing easy kicks to inflate your stats.

Will Carlos be ready to return by then?

Robbo may be up on report though.

Completely blanked that there was a bye this week when writing this. Revised:

Out: Kreuzer (inj), Waite (susp), Hadley
In: Hampson, Setanta, Murphy

I think the same thing. Break could not come at a better time for us.

I bet he plays - apparently on the radio over the weekend he sounded confident of returning for this game.

LINE IN THE BLOODY SAND!!

come out in the media and tell the world that this is our make or break game, that the world will end and heads will roll if we do not win, tell everyone to get on board and get to the game to create a hostile environment, get into fev's head early, tell everyone that the lions are slow, soft and over-rated, let the lions come out thinking of roughing us up and worrying about the man.

This stuff has worked incredibly well for the hawks and the kangaroos
its our turn!

Of course he will. And the usual suspects of Power, Black, Brennan, Mc Grath, Rich will carve us up again without us having anyone to stop them. In fact if there are any Bris` players really out of form this will be the game that they can turn it all around(ie enter Fev). Or just invent some sort of anniversary like Bris` 100th game at the Dome etc that will really fire them up and we wont be ready for them to come out so aggressively.

T-Bird up forward and White to take his place in defence. Fisher and Wiggins knocking at the door for a forward role in place of White. Although I
d rather T-Bird as far away from Brown as possible.

I like your idea Diesel of manipulating the media to our advantage, but I'd work a slightly different
angle. Make a lot of noise about a star getting victimised and the umps will pay them closer attention.
I've sent it work time and again with players. It shouldn't but it does. Unfortunately I think we may
have gone a bit early though with Judd. There's no doubt that he's getting some disgraceful off-the-ball
treatment and if the umps saw it he'd break the frees-for record. Just hope they remember come
Thursday week.

Try him another week up forward, but for the full game.

I agree. If anything for shits and giggles. If we're going down, we may as well go down in style.
