:banghead:

What did Carrazzo do to the ump? Didn't see that.

At least Judd's incident was thrown out.

This could be a blessing in disguise. Waite has been awful this year IMO. Time for him to reassess.

Disappointing for the club again with Waiteys suspension. VERY frustrating.

Judd should be given an apology from Geishen. Disgraceful treatment he's copping ATM.

To be honest I didn't even think Waite's bump was that bad.

Oh well, I guess it is our turn to win Tribunal Lotto this week.

Not sure if this was the incident or if it was Carrazzo but I saw a Carlton player make contact with an umpire. Basically the ball was kicked out of Freo's defence with a Freo and Carlton player both chasing the ball. About 5 metres of the ball the umpire got in the way of the Carlton player, providing a good block for the Freo player. If this is the incident they're talking about it was the umpires fault IMO he ran to the wrong spot.

However on a positive note as it's not a suspension he is still eligible for the NRS.

Gotta a feeling they might give Fisher a game...

Well, a bloke that good looking is going to have plenty of kids you'd reckon. May as well get him up to his hundredth.

I guess Waite should know you can't make any contact to the head if you bump these days and unfortunately his record didnt help. Big loss Waitey.

I didn't see the Carrazo incident but i wonder if the umpire who layed that perfect shepard on Judd against the Kangaroos when he was about to swoop on the ball and kick a goal got fined for making contact with a player? I some how doubt it.....

Did Judd's contact draw blood from Pavlich?

If so, lucky.

..no point appealing, it's a 3 weeker [two with early guilty plea] cos it's taking into account the points he's already carrying.. ..personally, he should take the two weeks, and take a good hard look at himself.. ..i don't like the thuggy waite that's creeping out.. ..he's fond of throwing about those loose elbowqs and recklesly bumping.. ..bumps have to be ultra-professional these days, and his height up's the difficulty..

This is absolute rubbish. The other guy was running at Waite. He just braced himself for the impact and the other guy came off second best. It's not like Waite targeted him, or lifted his elbow. The fact that he was hit in the head was just as much an accident as what Judd got off for.

re the ump, I saw an incident like that with Bower.
And then, about 60secs later bower had to stop and prop to avoid bumping into him again (may have been a different umpire).

If Setanta is fit, he comes straight back in. Otherwise, maybe Fisher gets his chance. Needs to play v close to goal.
OR, Austin gets a go...

Sounds like there will also be other changes. Murphy must come in. Maybe Grigg as well?
Out? I reckon they might keep AJ in and see how he goes after the break. I would think Thornton is vulnerable except he kicked a goal or 2 and we may need him for insurance with Waite out. (Also, he is a great back up ruckman  )

Maybe Hadley makes way for Grigg?
AJ for Murphy (with Army taking AJ's role)

Doesn't really bother me...just confirms my opinion that Waite is not a very intelligent footballer.
When he returns, it should be to the Backline. No point having your main forward leading to the boundary all night.
He's better off being taken to the ball where he can use his athleticism to win a contest.
Just my opinion.

  2 weeks for that. what is this @#$%&! game coming to.

umpiring going backwards at a rate of knots.

suspensions given and not given with alarming inconsistency

the surface of one of the only two grounds in a 9 team town (not counting Geelong who play half their home games at them as well) is nothing short of a disgraceful

the competition has a draw that is bordering on ridiulous in its uneveness

new tams coming in that have been given the world in an oyster to ensure they are the top 2 teams for the next decade.

but geez crowds and ratings are up so everything is hunky @#$%&! dory. up yours AFL  :banghead:
