To my fellow teammates,

I have now been with this famous football club for 2 1/2 years, and I now feel its time I need to communicate some of my observations.

It is true my shoulders were stuffed from carrying my former teammates, however my entire body is now disintegrating due to the workload expected of me from my fellow teammates and coaching staff for Carlton to win games.

Whilst I accept I more than anyone can influence the outcome of our games, it is becoming increasingly difficult to take on 18 players from the opposition, and also being pushed/buffeted/mauled by an opposition tagger without one of teammates coming to assist (apologies K.Lucas - thanks for using your seasoned and massive frame to assist).

If I could focus on a couple of key points:

* Hads, you were brought in to protect me but I think you are more interested in protecting your spot on the list. How about some help mate???
* Carrots - you have a seasoned body that one would think would take the hits for myself,Murph & Gibbs. However you insist in running forward of the play expecting me to feed the ball out and use your 'exquisite' foot skills. And any help with my tagger... I know you were tought with Davey but let's face it he's no man mountain hey Carrots?
* Scotto - not sure what's going on there mate. Are in you and Carrots on cahoots... sure your a better kick than him but? And waht about a shepherd or block for your teammates,do you know what they are?
* T-Bird - in my 2 1/2 years I have not seen you lay one tackle? Something wrong?
* Hoops - see TBird, Scotto

I look forward to our next team meeting from some robust discussion and fnd ways we can get back to our winning ways and keep my together beyond this year.

Signed
Juddy

That is gold. Hope each and every player in the team on Saturday night reads it.

A little bit harsh on Hoops, but otherwise spot on.

Rather than disintergrating, Judd's body has been in significantly better condition than it was prior to arrive at Carlton. What's this nonsense about him disintergrating?

Yep, although to note another point: Thornton would be well ahead over that period when it comes to spoils. When you're involved in that many aerial contests and are not a noted athlete, you won't lay too many tackles.

I guess slow coaches such as Hodge, Sewell, Mclean, Goddard, J.Selwood, Chapman, Rooke, et al, relied on guts, want and desire to lay a tackle.

Robinson isn't quick, but lays tackles because he has the want that is lacking in some of his teammates.

An article on the club website today quoting Hadley as saying that Judd needs more protection from his teammates. (really)
Hope they dont go too far agains Brisbane and give away lots of frees.

..it's simple.. ..put Robbo back into the team, and tell him to be Judd's shadow..

Just get Carrazzo or Joseph to tag the tagger. They need to sacrifice there game for team.

Also Murphy is a big out he normally takes the number one or two tag. On Saturday Freo had there eyes on only one player.

If Murphy isn't in the team then Gibbs should play four quarters in the middle. When he wins a clearance we are a chance to score a goal he doesn't kick side ways in the middle normally end up inside 50.

I don't think Robbo would be able to keep up.
Judd has too much pace on Robbo, let alone stamina.

I look at all the bodies at Carlton who could do a better physical job on the opposition than Hadley and McLean do, and I come up with Grigg and Cachia. Cachia is not ready yet, but he has the body to hurt and bump off opponents.

To my teammates,

It's now been a month since my last memo and still no help (again apologies K.Lucas). Does any one give a flower and want to help a teammate? Carrots, what about a shepherd? Scotto, ever chased a teammate? You're not far off joining T-Birdin the ants.

And to the coaching staff and match committee, how about giving me teammates that I am willing to go to war with?

Juddy

Juddy,

Stick your memos up your clacker. We couldn't care less.

Hoops, Scotto & Carrots

Instead of giving a half arsed response, how about contributing and giving consideration to the fact our captain and best player is fast turning into a 35yr old before our eyes. If you couldn't care less then go follow the Suns, otherwise it might be time to hold these players accountable for CONTINUALLY letting their captain down.

Think about for a sec, when Judd and the Coach (and nearly 99% of neutral footy observers) say he is not getting protection, who do you think they are referring to?

I think the problem is Judd plays in the centre next to Gibbs and Murphy who are great players but want their own memos. The whole team just need to harden the @#$%&! up.
