The 'ins' are exactly what I predicted....

I'm a bit surprised that T-Bird keeps his place ahead of Robbo, but the AJ/Armfield one was always going to be line-ball.

I think it's fair to say that we'll need to improve significantly on the last month to even get close to Freo. However, if we bring our 'A' game, we are more than capable of beating them. We'll probably know either way in the first 30 minutes, I suspect....

No doubt Joseph is earmarked for Ballantyne. Just hope they have a Plan B for Joseph if he fails, unlike last week.

And hopefully that Plan B involves smacking that little shit form here to next week! It's a team game and it'd be worth a few weeks on the sideline to show that little cauliflower what's what.

If he plays like he did last week then I think there are plenty of players in the bush league that can play his role.

I'm by no means suggesting we'll walk away with this one but Freo have dropped off a reasonable amount since their home loss to Collingwood.

In personnel terms they're missing some of their better players -
Greg Broughton - foot: 1-2 weeks
Des Headland - knee: 2-3 weeks
Chris Mayne - ankle: 2-3 weeks
Luke McPharlin - knee: 3-4 weeks
Rhys Palmer - ankle: test

Those are guys that would start for them most weeks and their depth is not the equivalent of the expected top four - Cats, Saints, Pies, Dogs.

Just thought it was worth keeping an eye on the other crew - otherwise we get excited about a win over a top four team and then lose the next week - we should be approaching this as a game we should win - then again, we don't win those either ... i dunno

Happy with the ins for us. Was really looking forward to Lucas, Bower, Henderson and Yarran coming back in.

The outs

Robbo _ I would say he is sore - poor last week the three weeks before you couldn't fault
Browne - still struggling at this level - takes time
Armfield - interesting maybe still sore - maybe didn't follow team rules
Setanta - Calf - probably on the early flight back to Ireland - extended break - not before time

Ins -
Hendo- go son
Bower
Yarren
Lucas - might take a week to pick up the pace again but was good before he was injured

Well at least it is not 22 on 21 this week

Go Blues

Tommy, Palmer has been named for Freo.

Sydney you continue to outdo yourself with your comments about Setanta.

I suspect Joseph might be earmarked to go with Hill.

Happy enough with the changes however would like to see Hampson and Grigg given a run over the next few weeks.

I reckon Carrazzo will go to Hill and Joseph will get Ballantyne.

Biggest threat is Sandilands. Was in Brownlow form early in the season .Has dropped off a tad in the last couple of weeks.Reckon he is tyring.Would have had Warnock or Hammer in the side for insurance myself.Apart from that,an OK team.

I'm 100% convinced that Sydney Blue would be a lot of fun with a beer in the hand, and that he's not as harsh as he comes across on this site.

Interesting: The illusive goal sneak, Campbell, Armfield's opponent last week, got 5 possessions. I thought Army did a great close down role on him and he should've played on the in form Thomas. Strange selection. Joseph, who gave a few stupid goals away in last week's loss keeps his spot, and this year his form has not been that great. Strange selection.

HENDO!!!!!! The future....but in the prsent he can only get vital games under his belt and improve his stocks. When they start sticking...watch out footy world. This week is a good time for that to start. It'll be dry indoors.

Gotta win this one. I'll be there.

Is anyone else as perplexed as me at the omission of the Swan Districts Dasher (Armfield)? There is something very very sinister about all this. I dare say there will be someone missing from that 22 on gameday and Dennis will play.

I suspect Walker is going to midfield this weekend.
